ANNOTATIONS for the SEPTEMBER 2017 SCOREBOARD

• After two consecutive months of numerous scores that were less then 90 points, The Rec Room joined us as a new location AND Hitch went from bi-weekly to weekly... so with an almost doubling of events in the month, the points of entry have understandably competitive up once again! This is the highest scoring Top Ten since the mammoth Top Ten of November 2016. 
• The Highest Score for September belongs to a first time team at Trivia Club, Oh Shoot! who also garnered the highest score during the opening month of competition at The Rec Room! 
• The highest score attained by a team that did not win the Golden VHS on the night belongs to friends and table mates of Oh Shoot!, "I'm Bad At This" at The Rec Room! 
• The highest score at Hitch belongs to the fourth annual Hitchens Cup winners the M. Night Shaym-Aliens for their September 18th score of 142 points, while the highest score at Cardinal Rule was notched by the Cunning Stunts on the last day of trivia of the month! 
• Seven of the Top Ten High Scores for September of 2017 in fact belong to teams who competed at The Rec Room, an impressive debut for teams at our newest location! Including familiar teams and not so familiar teams. Two High Scores took place at Cardinal Rule, while the M. Night Shaym-Aliens nailed down the only Hitch score for September in the Top Ten while also appearing on the list for their premiere score at The Rec Room! 
• Team Name also made multiple appearances on the Top Ten for September, both with scores in losing efforts (they would win on their third attempt on September 19th). This is Team Name's first appearance on the Top Ten since June of 2017.
• The Unusual Suspects last made an appearance on the Monthly Scoreboards, topping May 2017 Top Ten.
• This is The Bastards first appearance on the Top Ten since November of 2016, not as the Electric Bastards but as The Bastards, and was also the team's 100th appearance overall. 
• David Bowie's Corporate Whores make their sixth consecutive appearance on the Monthly Scoreboard, the Cunning Stunts make their fourth consecutive appearance, while Last Place Team's streak of four consecutive appearances comes to an end (they did however notch the 13th highest score of the month, with 90 points on September 27th)! 
• The eleventh highest score of the month once again belongs to The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes, repeating their feat from last month, who scored 118 points on September 18th, and who also notched the twelfth highest score of the month as they finished within a point of the eventual Hitchens Cup winners! 
• The Mean Team for September, the high score closest to the scoreboard average, are The Bastards!
