 A fter our Red Carpet Trivia Spectacular in The Hall, it was a return to The Rec Room and a return (for tonight at least) to the Three10 Restaurant! It was really a night of returns and debuts, as two teams with past experience at The Rec Room came back for another shot at the Golden VHS, and a former Golden VHS winning team (or members from it) came to The Big Stage to see if they could #TellBetterStories with the crowd!

 Trivia Classic  was a back and forth, which saw Time Crisis 2 in the lead! In the first of the nights returns, Time Crisis 2 was made up of members from The Alex Tre-Bests, former Golden VHS Champs from Cardinal Rule! Close behind them were Team Juicy :P, followed by the returning (and still wonderfully named) Tequila Mockingbird, with another returning group of friendly faces Team USA, and The KD Krew rounding out the Top Five (top five, top five)!

 Tri-Pardo  then twisted around the standings, as Tequila Mockingbird hit for the triple and with a forty-four point swing took the lead away from Time Crisis 2, who with 25 points still held onto the second place spot. Competitors from two days before at our Oscar Night Spectacular, KAITRRR & JU entered from the arcade floor and with a triple of their own saw their sudden forty-four points take them into third place! Team USA, much like Time Crisis 2, grabbed 25 points for a solid fourth place spot before the Finale, while The KD Krew gained six points!

In the  Trivia Finale , it was a matter of wagers and right answers! Though Tequila Mockingbird had the lead, they only wagered three points... a good idea afterall as they were unable to guess the correct answer, and finished as runners-up with 55 points! With the correct answer however, and on a thirteen point wager... giving them 61 points at the end of the night...

 A t the 116th edition of Trivia Club at Hitch it was a dramatic back and forth, with the Fighting Mongooses taking the early lead on Wookiee of the Year, while newcomers Detective O'Trivia Benson as played by MaQuizka Harkitay looked to play spoilers. As friends of Wookiee of the Year they had experience on prior teams and at prior trivia events in the city, but Detective O'Trivia Benson as played by MaQuizka Harkitay where new to the Greatest Game Show in Toronto!

The Fighting Mongooses grabbed the first TOP TEN of Game Show Games, only for Wookiee to take the second TOP TEN, before the bar team edged out the competition in Combo Breakdown to take a two point edge into Tri-Pardo!

A rough and tumble third round saw Detective O'Trivia Benson as played by MaQuizka Harkitay gain five points on the rest of the field in Tri-Pardo, though not enough to catch up. While everyone else wagered safely it was Wookiee or the Year who went all in on the Finale, and though every team got the last question correct, in this tight field of competition it was...

WOOKIEE OF THE YEAR with their first Golden VHS win since November, and SEVENTH overall, who took home the victory on the night even after two-thirds of the team left just before the last question!

Oscar! Oscar! Yes, in the spirit of the 90th edition of the Academy Awards, we held a screening of events at The Rec Room, and were also able to bring you a Red Carpet Trivia Spectacular. It was the second Trivia Club of the week at The Rec Room, and twenty-second overall on The Big Stage!
Trivia Classic would see the leaders after the first round be Three Holo-Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri 2049 (featuring some sweet Atari ads, no doubt) with the early lead, and this was a team with such familiar Extra Curricular faces for Trivia Club folks as Matthew S., Sarah R., and Rob M. of the SNL Fantasy League, joined by two friends new to Trivia Club! Peaches 'n Cream were in second place, with some familiar Shaym-Aliens as part of the team. In third, making their debut at The Rec Room, as well as completely outside of Cardinal Rule, The Team Formerly Know As Last Place Team! They were tied with Oscar's Wilde, while a point behind third place tied for fifth were Team Mochi, and Fierce Brosnan! In seventh were Oscar the Grouch, followed by The Rec Room special event notables the Best Supporting Couple!, also known as Carl's FavePudding! Rounding out the first wave field were The Ferocious 5, featuring a former Golden VHS champ with Thundercats, and Black Canary!

With the initial four point lead, and then an additional thirty points in the Tri-Pardo round, the field were unable to catch-up to Three Billboards who hit for the triple and then doubled up in the Trivia Finale on Oscar night to bring home the Best Picture of Golden VHS victory! Oscar's Wilde wound up winding past their competition and finished as runners-up, with The Team Formerly Know As LPT in third!
