It was the 125th edition of Trivia Club at Hitch, and with that big round number came a selection of returning face, all back at our Black Label location, looking to make the most of May!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with The Man with the Candy returning to defend their Golden VHS from the week before! They would have to deal with the Fighting Mongooses however, who were just two and a half points behind! Four points behind the 2018 Grand Champions were Wookiee Dough, while rounding out the field and returning for the first time since Hi#091 were AK47!

 Game Show Games  then brought us round two, which saw AK47 gain ground with a TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown! They were followed by The Man with the Candy for eight points, Fighting Mongooses for six points, and Wookiee Dough for four! Fighting Mongooses then got the TOP TEN in Survey Says, with AK47 picking up eight points, The Man with the Candy grabbing six points, and Wookiee nabbing another four points! Heading into our Combo Breakdown, The Man with the Candy were for the second week, ahead of the Fighting Mongooses, but now by only half a point! Half was not enough, as the Fighting Mongooses proved the last team standing, outlasting The Man for FIFTEEN POINTS!

With the lead now, for the first time on the night, the Fighting Mongooses were ready for round three!  Tri-Pardo  proved nearly all-time as well with the total points available topping fifty points! The Fighting Mongooses rolled the first question for nineteen points, while Wookiee Dough the second question for fifteen points, and finally AK47 flipped the third question for a nat TWENTY, doing so on the first role! This meant that fifty-four points were on the line for our teams. Not one, but two teams hit the triple, as Wookiee Dough and the Fighting Mongooses both gained fifty-four points, with the Mongooses doubling their impressive two round haul in the third.

This meant that heading into the  Finale , the Fighting Mongooses had a chance to join the rarefied air of teams that had scored 200 points or more, having not yet crossed the Sesquicentennial Mark as well! Though the Fighting Mongooses may also have a history of playing it close as well, they suspected that they couldn't rest on the competition. Wookiee wasn't far behind, and The Man with the Candy and AK47 though further, weren't out of reach either!

Finishing as runners up after the wager? Wookiee Dough! In doing so they also crossed the Sesquicentennial Mark for the seventh time, while The Man with the Candy hit there second straight 150+ score as well, in third place!

Champion on this Monday night however, and winning their NINTH Golden VHS, tying them with Wookiee for all-time win at Hitch… with a new personal best of 200 points, becoming just the twelfth different team to break 200 points, the seventh highest score all-time at Hitch (Trusty Rumpets had 201 points, as well)… THE FIGHTING MONGOOSES! It is looking to be the fifth month of 2018 with a Monthly Scoreboard appearance for our house team of 2018! Enjoy Force 10 from Naverone!
