Welcome one and all to a recap of Trivia Club at  THE REC ROOM  across Canada! We’re celebrating the CHAMPIONS and the TOP SCORES at The Rec Room locations in Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario, looking at how they did on the night, and how they stack up against each other! Last week on January 21st it was Syd's Leaving at Deerfoot in Calgary with the high score Canada-wide at Trivia Club! The TOP FIVE SCORES for Trivia Club at The Rec Room, the first week to see all seven locations holding an event, for the week of January 28th, 2020 breakdown as follows:

On our 109th event at The Rec Room Roundhouse in  TORONTO  with host and Trivia Club creator Russel Harder (left), Cookefaced won their second Golden VHS of 2020 and fourteenth overall, with a score of 158 points, the highest score of the week Across Canada! Runners-up on the night, were The Questionables with 138 points, which also happened to be the second highest score in the country! The sixth highest score in Canada, just outside the Top Five (top five top five) belongs to Death from Above, who finished third in Toronto with 105 points. CLICK HERE FOR A FULL RECAP OF THE NIGHT!

It was the WEDNESDAY return for the 13th event at The Rec Room Avalon in  ST. JOHN'S  with host Russell Cochrane (right), bringing those wonderful trivia folks out from the cold! Root Scootin Boogie won the first event of 2020 with a strong 122 points, the third highest score Across Canada, while Quality Meats came in second with 108 points, the fifth highest score in the country! In third place on the night were Golden Girls with 96 points!
It was the 3rd event at Deerfoot in  CALGARY  hosted by South Side Trivia's Sammy Jurkowski (left), which saw the Cunning Chimeras return once again but finish as runners-up on the night with 85 points, while the nights Champs with 118 points were Corona Virus with Lime, who nabbed the fourth highest score Across Canada!


We can't forget  LONDON ’s Masonville location, and host Justin Gayle (center, thumbs up), who saw the Quad Squad win the night with 98 points, eight points ahead of runners-up on the night and last week's winners Trifecta who finished with 90 points! Last Week's First Round Winners were one of the three teams that were knocked out by the Finale question and finished with 0 points.

Just outside of the Top Five ranking at the 31st event at the South Commons in  EDMONTON  hosted by Ed Childs (not pictured), Lord of the Trivia returned to the winners circle with a 97 point night! This was the fourth Trivia Club Championship for the team also known as Owl Be Back!

The 28th event at the West Edmonton Mall in  EDMONTON  hosted by CTV's Graham Neil (not pictured), had the weeks closest finish as WHT010 finished two points ahead of Team Ninja, 50 points to 48 points!

The 32nd event at  MISSISSAUGA ’s Square One location of The Rec Room with host Jeewan Gill (center, thumbs up) was a case of Spicy Pork Buns hanging on for the victory with 39 points as the rest of the field fell off the pace on the Finale question! Thumbs up!
