ANNOTATIONS for the NOVEMBER 2019 SCOREBOARD

• Once again, a team competing at The Rec Room topped the Monthly Scoreboard, but for November 2019 that team is The Questionables! The winningest team from our events at The Rec Room had Trivia Club’s top score for the month, and the top score at The Roundhouse with 181.5 points on November 26th! This was not only the top score of the month but also the second-highest score ever in the history of The Rec Room Roundhouse!
• Once again, a team competing at Hitch notched the second highest score of the month, though for November this is also a different team from October… it’s Chocolate Chip Wookiee Dough! Wookiee grabbed 180.5 points on November 25th for the top score of November at Hitch!
• The highest score for a team that did not win on the night is also the third highest score overall for November 2019, as the Fatigued Mongoose scored 161 to take the runner-up at Hitch on November 25th!
• In total, not only did the top three scores take place on Monday the 25th and Tuesday the 26th, but seven of the ten highest scores at Trivia Club for November, took place within that two day span!
• 2 Fast 2 Curious finished with the top score at Farside for November 2019, as they scored 159 points on November 6th for the second leg of our second annual Grand Championship event at the Friendly Neighborhood ‘side, crowning the Head of Class for Uncle Rubberknee’s Golden Skull!
• Though it was 2 Fast 2 Curious with the highest score overall, the highest aggregate score across our month long second-anniversary celebration would win the Golden Skull… and that team, Team Lithgow, would also score 141.5 points on November 6th to finish as runners-up on the night but Grand Champions at Farside for 2019! Team Lithgow also did so without having yet won a Golden VHS in seven appearances! Unprecedented!
• Making their first appearance on the Top Ten Scoreboard since taking over the April 2019 Scoreboard are Smartly Pretty, as Auto-Erotic As-Quiz-iation who scored 138 points on November 11th at Hitch.
• With the highest score outside of Toronto and ninth highest overall for November 2019, Not Fashionable, Just Late scored 131 points on November 26th to win the night at The Rec Room Avalon in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador! The tenth highest score would go to their runner-up, Sundunces who scored 128 points!
• Across Canada, the rest of the high scores at The Rec Room locations would be outside of the Top Ten, but the highest score at The Rec Room Masonville in London, Ontario would go to The Recing Balls who set a new location record with 116 points on November 19th! On November 12th at The Rec Room South Edmonton in Alberta, Not Last Place would grab the top score of the month with 109 points. Pinky and the Brain would score 79 points for the top score at The Rec Room Square One in Mississauge, Ontario on November 19th. Finally, at The Rec Room West Ed Mall, Ginny’s Pie +1 would score 63 points on November 19th as well.
• The eleventh highest score of the month would belong to two teams, as we would have our FIRST TIE EVER on the east end of Toronto on November 21st at Black Lab Brewing, when Les Quizerables and FAHTBOPH both scored 126 points! After multiple tie-breakers and a sudden victory Box Office Bulls-eye… FAHTBOPH would win the night!
• The Fighting Mongooses made their sixth consecutive appearance on the Monthly Scoreboard, as a Fatigued Mongoose making his fifty-third consecutive appearance at Hitch! Both The Questionables and Wookiee have now made three consecutive appearances on the Monthly Scoreboard! Dead on the Inside has now made a repeat appearance as well, this month as No One Will Be Spared to go along with last month’s If Only Alexa Was Here. Cookiefaced see their four consecutive appearance streak, on the Scoreboard come to an end, while the M. Night Shaym-Aliens are halted at three.
• The Mean Team, the team with the high score that is closest to the Scoreboard average for November of 151 points, is The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes who scored 147 points on November 25th at Hitch.
