Now across eight different locations, and four current locations, we’ve held more then FIVE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY events, and had the pleasure of holding Trivia Club events for the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet of Canada, and more, while also making appearances on CBC Radio 1! We’ve teamed with movie sponsors like Fox Searchlight and Paramount, enjoyed candy prizes from The Candy Bar, and cool clothes from the likes of North Standard and Crywolf! Let’s not forget our countless beer sponsors!
As we celebrate SIX years, in The 6, on the 6th, what do we have in store in our latest greatest iteration of the Grand Championship Grand Prix? SIX EVENTS across FOUR LOCATIONS for Trivia Club’s sixth anniversary!
April 9th at HITCH
April 11th at THE ACE for Trivia Club’s Anniversary Night
April 18th at FARSIDE
April 23rd at HITCH added in replacement of April 10th!
April 24th at THE REC ROOM
April 30th at HITCH for our Grand Championship Finale
As you can see, the first half of the Grand Prix for the Golden VCR is front loaded, with the upcoming Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday each giving you an opportunity to win points! Then each week after we bring you a GCGP VI event at Farside on Wednesday, The Rec Room once again on Tuesday, and the Finale at Hitch on Monday! The points that will decide who wins that Golden VCR in 2018 however won’t just be the points you get on the night of trivia that might win you the Golden VHS, those will still be used in case of a tie-breaker, but your Grand Prix Points will be all about how you place!
Teams that finish within the TOP SIX on each of the above SIX EVENTS will receive the following points towards The Race for the Golden VCR:
