As the penultimate week of the Grand Championship Grand Prix competition began, the second half of GCGP events proved all the more unpredictable then the first with nine teams finishing the first round at Hitch, putting teams outside the realm of Grand Prix points for the first time in our sixth anniversary celebration!

 Trivia Classic  ended with Van Ostenstras in th top spot in their debut! They finished a half point ahead of Wookiees n Cream, who themselves were half a point ahead of the Unsolvable Quizzy Schmidt! Schmidt were three and a half points ahead of their table mates and coworkers the Thirsty Thinkers! Just half a point behind Schmidt however and a point and a half off the lead in FOURTH were the Fighting Mongooses! Lt. Dance had returned to defend their Golden VHS from the week before, this time as John Tortolini, in doing so making the 100th appearance for Lt. Dance at a Trivia Club event (becoming the fifth team to do so at a Trivia Club), and Anthony was all tied up with Porno for Daft Punks! Rounding out the field were Text Face and the boisterous Safety-Proof!

 Game Show Games  only brought a slight relief to the nights chaotic nature with a Countdown Takedown that had the TOP TEN go to John Tortolini, eight points added to the Fighting Mongooses, six to Porno for Daft Punks, and four to Text Face! After nabbing two points in the first game, Wookiee was left pointless in Survey Says, while the Unsolvable Quizzy Schmidt nabbed the TOP TEN! Van Ostenstras got on the second round board with eight points, while it took the Fighting Mongooses until the last guess to get an additional six points! This meant that the Fighting Mongooses were in first place for the eighth straight week heading into Combo Breakdown! We also saw Van Ostenstras leave the event early, even with the third place spot at the time! Combo Breakdown proved a tough one this week, with the final head-to-head coming down to the newly named The Man with the Wookiees n' Cream, now a collaborative team of four, and the Thirsty Thinkers! It was the Thirsty Thinkers that held on as the last team standing... but when they put their points on the line, it proved too much too fast, and inevitably only got an additional two points for their troubles in the Breakdown!

 Tri-Pardo  then saw the first question rolled for fourteen points by John Tortolini, the second question rolled four nine points by Safety-Proof, and the third question rolled four ten points by the Fighting Mongooses, for a total of thirty-three points on the line in the third round! No team would hit for the triple, but both The Unsolvable Quizzy Schmidt and Wookiees n' Cream would gain nineteen points off of the second and third question, while the Fighting Mongooses and John Tortolini would garner nine points, and both Safety-Proof and Porno for Daft Punks would grab four points, while Thirsty Thinkers would lose ten points!

Heading into the  Finale , this meant that The Unsolvable Quizzy Schmidt had gained the lead on the night, with five and a half points on both The Man with the Wookiees n' Cream and the Fighting Mongooses who were tied after the third round! Leading the other third of the pack were John Tortolini, followed by Porno for Daft Punks! With all the wagering on the table, Porno was not able to catch the field, but by going all-in, John Tortolini was conceivably drawing even with the Fighting Mongooses, while The Man with the Wookiees n' Cream were within fighting distance of the runners-up spot to The Unsolvable Quizzy Schmidt... who could win this on the last question, if everything went correct...

The Finale proved trickier then that, so tricky in fact that shooting from seventh to second place on the last question were the Thirsty Thinkers, finishing in the runner-up outta nowhere for five Grand Prix points as well! There table mates The Unsolvable Quizzy Schmidt finished in an unexpected fourth place with three GPP, while the Fighting Mongooses were a point ahead in third with an additional four Grand Prix points, and winning on the night... taking home their NINTH GOLDEN VHS were THE MAN WITH THE WOOKIEES N' CREAM!
