Wednesday saw our 45th edition of Trivia Club at the Friendly Neighbourhood ‘side of the street! Who would walk away with the win at Farside? With a mix of regular teams at Gerrard and Broadview, as well as some competitive newcomers, we would have to wait and see!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with the M. Night Shaym-Aliens in the lead against the field, the trio had a two point advantage on 2 Fast 2 Curious who were looking to repeat as Champs on the night! Four and a half points back were Quiz Knows, newcomers with an excellent name, and one point behind them were another couple of newcomers in J & J! Finally, three and a half point back from the newcomers were the Cunning Stunts, making their 197th appearance at a Trivia Club event and proving with this Top Five (top five top five) the kind of competitive field on this night!

 Game Show Games  then saw 2 Fast 2 Curious grab the TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown and gain the leaders spot, with eight points going to the Cunning Stunts, six points to Quiz Knows, four points to the final guessers the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, and a couple of good points to J & J! Then in Survey Says it was the M. Night Shaym-Aliens who were left pointless, while J & J grabbed another two points, the Cunning Stunts grabbed four points, 2 Fast 2 Curious grow their lead with eight points, and Quiz Knows grabbed the TOP TEN to move into second place!

 Tri-Pardo  was important for everyone, especially if they wanted to catch up with 2 Fast 2 Curious, and the first category was rolled for nine points by Cunning Stunts, the second category was rolled for eight points by Quiz Knows, and finally the third category was rolled for thirteen points by 2 Fast 2 Curious! This meant a full thirty points were on the line! Hitting for the triple and gaining the second spot were the Cunning Stunts, who were now just seven points behind 2 Fast 2 Curious who had picked up twenty-two points from the first and third questions! Also grabbing twenty-two points were the M. Night Shaym-Aliens who stayed in third, and grabbing nine points in the first question and falling to fourth place were Quiz Knows!

 Trivia Finale  wagering saw Quiz Knows maybe sensing their fallen spot and only wagering twenty points in a bet against the field! The Shaym-Aliens left five on the board, while the Cunning Stunts and 2 Fast 2 Curious went all in! When the dust settled… two of the four teams would answer the final question correctly… and it would be the teams that went all in!

Runners-up on the night were the Cunning Stunts, who finished the night with 137 points! Winning their TWENTY-NINTH GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONSHIP, a repeat win at Farside for their TENTH Gold Tape at the location, breaking their tie with Team Name to become the fifth-winningest all-time… 2 FAST 2 CURIOUS! The team formerly known as Last Place Team finished the night with 151 points, their twentieth Sesquicentennial Mark which ties them for second-most all-time with the Electric Mayhem.
