ANNOTATIONS for the OCTOBER 2019 SCOREBOARD

• Cookiefaced once again had the top spot on the Monthly Scoreboard, following up their Grand Championship September with a 171 point top score at The Rec Room and The Rec Room Roundhouse on October 8th. This is also the second month in a row that Cookiefaced has had multiple appearances on the Scoreboard!
• With a 164 point night on our Halloween edition of Trivia Club at Hitch on October 28th, the Fighting Monghouls won their second consecutive Halloween Trivia Club, and for the second consecutive month take the number two spot on our Monthly Scoreboard with the top score for October at Hitch to follow up their own Grand Championship September.
• The top score outside of Toronto is the third highest score overall, this month! Our third event at The Rec Room Avalon in St. John’s saw Newfoundland and Labrador’s Drunk Quizstory score 158 points on October 8th, also becoming the first team outside of Toronto to pass the Sesquicentennial Mark!
• Wookieek of the FEAR has the highest score by a team who did not win the Golden VHS on that night, when they scored 153 points at Hitch to finish as runners-up on October 28th, 2019!
• The top score at Farside for October 2019 is the highest score at Farside, as the M. Night Shaym-Aliens began the first of a two leg second-anniversary Grand Championship event for Uncle Rubberknee’s Head of Class by scoring 151 points against the field on October 16th!
• The Questionables are the only third place team, on the night, to have their high score break into this month’s Top Ten Scoreboard, as they scored 144 points on October 8th at The Rec Room Roundhouse! It is one of four scores from October 8th, across two locations!
• Seven of the Top Ten scores for October 2019 came from teams competing at The Rec Room, with one of those taking place at The Rec Room Avalon, and the other six at The Rec Room Roundhouse, including the sixth to tenth spots on the Scoreboard. Two of the spots came from teams competing at Hitch, and one at Farside.
• The highest score at Black Lab Brewing for October 2019 belongs to the Feral Mongooses, who scored 97 points to win the monthly event on October 23rd. This was the twenty-fourth victory for the Mongooses, but first with Bowser as part of the team.
• The eleventh highest score of the month, the closest to the Scoreboard without making it on, comes from Trebekasaurus Rex who scored 139 points at The Rec Room Avalon in St. John’s on October 1st.
• Speaking of High Scores outside of Toronto which did not quite make the Monthly Scoreboard, Quiztopher Walken had the high score in London for October with 138 points on October 15th at The Rec Room Masonville! Hot Salad had the high score at The Rec Room Square One with 126 points on October 1st. Also with 126 points was PCM ALS on October 29th at The Rec Room South Commons in Edmonth, and at our other Edmonton location at The Rec Room West Ed Mall, The Pickles scored 78 points on October 8th!
• In terms of consecutive appearances, the Fighting Mongooses appear on their fifth consecutive Monthly Scoreboard, while Cookiefaced is on their fourth consecutive Scoreboard, and the third consecutive appearance for the M. Night Shaym-Aliens! Also making a return appearance from last month are Wookiee, as well as The Questionables!
• The Mean Team for October 2019, the team with the high score that is closest to the board average of 152.5 points is (by the narrowest of margins) Wooookieek of the FEAR who score 153 points at Hitch on October 28th!
