As the Grand Championship Grand Prix turned towards it's second half of events, on the back of the second Trivia Club Grand Prix event in two days we not only had our eyes on the bigger picture of the Chase for the Golden VCR, but also how much this second night of Trivia Club at Farside would effect the larger month!

The Friendly Neighborhood 'side of the street saw a tight field atop the standings after  Trivia Classic , as the Cunning Stunts returned to Farside and looked to win their first Golden VHS since (wait, am I reading this correctly?) last April! With just their fourth appearance since that victory and first in 2019, the winningest team in Trivia Club history was half a point ahead of the returning (in part) teams of Ask Jeeves! Ask Jeeves were themselves a point ahead of The Right Amount of Stupid, the latest name for the duo of Smartly Pretty! In fourth place were Murray, in the past known as The Man with the Candy, who were themselves a point and a half ahead of the family unit of Smells Like Team Spirit to round out the Top Five! In sixth were Hobo Cops who were a point and a half ahead of the returning 2 Fast 2 Curious, who were five points away from Smartly Pretty on this night, in their larger Golden VCR battle! Tied with 2 Fast 2 Curious were peers of Jeeves, Q (as in Star Trek not Anon), who were also partially returning competitors, followed closely by more friends within that group, Couples Retreat! Rounding out the field were Pascal's Wits and Wagers!

 Game Show Games , with the field of ten, looked to shake things up in a chaotic fashion! Box Office Bullseye started things off with Q (as in Star Trek not Anon) gaining the TOP TEN points with an excellent guess! Not far off the mark and getting five points as a result, were The Right Amount of Stupid, Hobo Cops, Murray, and friends of Q, Couples Retreat and Ask Jeeves! Survey Says then provided a particularly tricky game show game, though 2 Fast 2 Curious were able to gain the TOP TEN, while Ask Jeeves jumped into the lead with eight points! Countdown Takedown then saw Ask Jeeves game their way to the TOP TEN, while Just The Right Amount of Stupid gained eight points to keep themselves in a close second place, and the Cunning Stunts were left pointless in round two after leading round one!

Heading into  Tri-Pardo , Ask Jeeves had opened up a lead but the night was far from over as Pascal's Wits and Wagers chose the first category and rolled for twelve points, while Smells Like Team Spirit chose the second category and rolled a NAT TWENTY! Finally Just The Right Amount of Stupid chose the third category and rolled for seventeen, making it a forty-nine point third round! Ask Jeeves answered the first and third questions correct and gained twenty-nine points, as did Murray. Hitting the triple for forty-nine points in the third round were Smells Like Team Spirit, Couples Retreat, the Cunning Stunts, 2 Fast 2 Curious, and The Right Amount of Stupid! This put Smells Like Team Spirit even with Ask Jeeves, while Couples Retreat were just a point behind both teams! Cunning Stunts were now just two and a half points behind that group, but the shift in Tri-Pardo points had brought The Right Amount of Stupid into the lead, with 2 Fast 2 Curious now just four points behind their Grand Championship competition!

Wagering blind for the  Trivia Finale , it was then further unpredictability! Though most teams went all in, both Ask Jeeves and Smells Like Team Spirit left one point behind. Surprisingly the duo of The Right Amount of Stupid left ten from their wager and opened the door for 2 Fast 2 Curious to win by two points if both teams answered correctly! Though they had uncharacteristically not gone all-in, it helped save The Right Amount of Stupid ten important points on the night and in turn points in the GCGP! The Finale would hit for teams, with Couples Retreat and Pascal's Wits and Wagers finishing the night tied in eighth, while Smells Like Team Spirit had a single point left for seventh! In sixth with their ten points were The Right Amount of Stupid, giving Smartly Pretty two more Grand Prix Points in the Chase for the Golden VCR. The Top Five to finish were Murray with 117 points, followed by Q (as in Star Trek not Anon) with 124 points, and a top three that all crossed the Sesquicentennial Mark! Cunning Stunts had scored big once again at Farside, with 151 points but had yet to win their 69th Golden VHS in the last 365 days! The runners-up were Ask Jeeves with 155 points!

This meant that winning their TWENTY-SECOND GOLDEN VHS and ending the night with 166 points, along with seven Grand Prix Points to take the lead for the Golden VCR with still two nights of Grand Championship trivia to come... 2 FAST 2 CURIOUS! Yes that 22nd VHS for 2 Fast 2 Curious was an important one! 2 Fast 2 Curious, formerly known as Last Place Team, also become the sixth team with 6,000 points or more to their name all-time at Trivia Club, joining the Cunning Stunts, Electric Mayhem, The Bastards, M. Night Shaym-Aliens, and Team Name!
