ANNOTATIONS for the AUGUST 2018 SCOREBOARD
- The top score on the Monthly Scoreboard once again belongs to a team from The Ace, but this time it is a first time team that leads the board, Les Quizerables! They are the first all-new faces atop the Scoreboard since September of last year when Oh Shoot! helped open The Rec Room in its first weeks with a high mark that still stands at The Roundhouse! Les Quizerables scored 190.5 s points on the 22nd of August!
- The high score at Hitch for August 2018 is also the second highest score of the month, with Matt & Pat returning to our Black Label location as Smartly Pretty, their first Top Ten appearance since January 2018 as Lil Baby! Smartly Pretty scored their 179 on August 27th!
- 2 Fast 2 Curious the team formerly known as Last Place Team returned to The Ace for the first time since June 2018 and grabbed the highest score of August 2018 for a team that did not win the Golden VHS on the night!
- This is also Lt. Dance's first Monthly Scoreboard appearance since October 2017 as Estelle Getty Lee, as they scored 117 points in their runner-up appearance on August 8th at The Ace as Jonathan Lucas Picard!
- Four events, in fact, make up the Top Ten for August 2018, with a week of events from the 22nd to the 28th making for eight of the Top Ten!
- Teams that competed at The Ace make for four of the spots on this Month's Scoreboard, while The Rec Room sees another four teams, and Hitch has two teams.
- Farside, with no teams on the Scoreboad, had just one event in August 2018 with the Fighting Mongooses getting the high score at the location for this month with 11 points on August 1st!
- The Fighting Mongooses continue their consecutive appearance record on these monthly scoreboards with their eighth consecutive appearance on the Top Ten, from their Triple Crown winning score at The Ace on August 8th, making it eight for eight in 2018!
- This is the third consecutive appearance for the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, while Shelby of the Shaym-Aliens makes her fifth consecutive appearance on the Monthly Scoreboard! Making their second consecutive appearance are REO Speedealer from Hitch, and Suck It Trebek from The Rec Room!
- The high score at The Rec Room for August 2018 and the sixth highest score of the month belongs to The Tip Counts But The Points Don't Matter who scored 102 points on August 28th, and who is joined by the second, third, and fourth place teams from the last event of August 2018!
- The eleventh highest score of August 2018 also took place on August 28th, with 74 points from the fifth place team that night, The bees, the bees, Oh, GOD, the bees! This is also the third straight month wherein the eleventh highest score of the month took place at The Rec Room!
- The Mean Team for August 2018, the team with the high score closest to the Monthly Scoreboard average is... Jonathan Lucas Picard!
