We returned to the Friendly Neighborhood confines of your favorite coffee bar/bar that now also serves coffee in the afternoon! The warm and cozy, kitch that houses Trivia Club at Farside! It was our TENTH EDITION of Trivia Club in Chinatown East, and we were joined by familiar faces and surprise guests from our other Wednesday location!

 Trivia Classic  came to a close with a tight back and forth competition between two pairs of Shaym-Aliens going head-to-head, with the ladies of Fart School Confidential, on this night known as My Fart Will Go On, holding a four point lead over the gentlemen of Joldboy! Just a point behind J'Oldboy (maybe a Jamaican remake of the Korean revenge film?) were The Simple Minds! Yes, by chance our two-time Champions from The Ace had found their way to the east-end on an off Wednesday from west-side competition! Rounding out the first round field was the returning Team Ozma in fourth!

 Game Show Games  then gave us the first TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown for Joldboy, while My Fart Will Go On kept things close with an eight point answer! The Simple Minds picked up six points, and Ozma grabbed four points! Then in Survey Says, it was an eight point answer for My Fart Will Go On once again, while The Simple Minds picked up four points, and Joldboy grabbed two points... meaning the top ten was unfortunately missed out on! Combo Breakdown then saw Ozma out first, while the rest of the field went back and forth, and back and forth, before The Simple Minds fell with four points to their name, and My Fart Will Go On outlasted Joldboy for a big SIXTEEN POINT swing as the last women standing!

This meant that heading into  Tri-Pardo , the M. Night Shaym-Alien alumni, My Fart Will Go On, had a strong lead on the field and they had a chance to either keep it even or gain further ground! All teams would gain nineteen points, on the second question rolled by Ozma, while Joldboy, more Shaym-Alien alumni would lose sixteen points on a question they rolled! Gaining an additional six points however on a question that they had rolled were My Fart Will Go On! This meant that heading into the Finale, My Fart Will Go On had only opened up their advantage on the field... they just had to deal with the surprise SPORTS Finale as chosen by The Simple Minds!

It did not trip up any team in the field on this night however, and finishing as runners-up were The Simple Minds! Yes, all the way from The Ace and so nearly winning in a second location! Joldboy would finish the night third, and doubling their total...

With 163 points, and making it a repeat GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONSHIP for Shelby, and two out of three for Em, of the M. Night Shaym-Aliens... MY FART WILL GO ON! Cue Celine Dion, but backed with fart sounds! Something like this (thanks, internet).

After a week away it was a wonderful return to The Rec Room, as we were welcomed into the Three10 Restaurant to partake in Trivia Club for the THIRTIETH edition at The Roundhouse!

 Trivia Classic  saw not one but two teams hold the lead, as Prince Harry Balls shared the lead with Bunker Gang & Friends! Though the Bunker Gang & Friends fell off the lead, Prince Harry Balls grabbed the triple in  Tri-Pardo  for FORTY-FIVE points, while Kazamba also grabbed forty-five points to keep within six points of the lead! With all teams going all into, that meant that the  Trivia Finale  would be a dangerous case of literally all and nothing...

Outlasting the competition with their utter cleverness was the family of four, KAZAMBA who became GOLDEN VHS CHAMPS for the first time at The Rec Room, and it must also be said have given us two of the youngest Golden VHS winners in the history of Trivia Club! Thanks Mom! Anything is possible, at The Rec Room!

It was the 125th edition of Trivia Club at Hitch, and with that big round number came a selection of returning face, all back at our Black Label location, looking to make the most of May!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with The Man with the Candy returning to defend their Golden VHS from the week before! They would have to deal with the Fighting Mongooses however, who were just two and a half points behind! Four points behind the 2018 Grand Champions were Wookiee Dough, while rounding out the field and returning for the first time since Hi#091 were AK47!

 Game Show Games  then brought us round two, which saw AK47 gain ground with a TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown! They were followed by The Man with the Candy for eight points, Fighting Mongooses for six points, and Wookiee Dough for four! Fighting Mongooses then got the TOP TEN in Survey Says, with AK47 picking up eight points, The Man with the Candy grabbing six points, and Wookiee nabbing another four points! Heading into our Combo Breakdown, The Man with the Candy were for the second week, ahead of the Fighting Mongooses, but now by only half a point! Half was not enough, as the Fighting Mongooses proved the last team standing, outlasting The Man for FIFTEEN POINTS!

With the lead now, for the first time on the night, the Fighting Mongooses were ready for round three!  Tri-Pardo  proved nearly all-time as well with the total points available topping fifty points! The Fighting Mongooses rolled the first question for nineteen points, while Wookiee Dough the second question for fifteen points, and finally AK47 flipped the third question for a nat TWENTY, doing so on the first role! This meant that fifty-four points were on the line for our teams. Not one, but two teams hit the triple, as Wookiee Dough and the Fighting Mongooses both gained fifty-four points, with the Mongooses doubling their impressive two round haul in the third.

This meant that heading into the  Finale , the Fighting Mongooses had a chance to join the rarefied air of teams that had scored 200 points or more, having not yet crossed the Sesquicentennial Mark as well! Though the Fighting Mongooses may also have a history of playing it close as well, they suspected that they couldn't rest on the competition. Wookiee wasn't far behind, and The Man with the Candy and AK47 though further, weren't out of reach either!

Finishing as runners up after the wager? Wookiee Dough! In doing so they also crossed the Sesquicentennial Mark for the seventh time, while The Man with the Candy hit there second straight 150+ score as well, in third place!

Champion on this Monday night however, and winning their NINTH Golden VHS, tying them with Wookiee for all-time win at Hitch… with a new personal best of 200 points, becoming just the twelfth different team to break 200 points, the seventh highest score all-time at Hitch (Trusty Rumpets had 201 points, as well)… THE FIGHTING MONGOOSES! It is looking to be the fifth month of 2018 with a Monthly Scoreboard appearance for our house team of 2018! Enjoy Force 10 from Naverone!

Our lo-fi late night Trivia Club haven in the neighbourhood where it all began, returned for our fifth edition of trivia at The Ace! With that return we also saw a former Champion at Cardinal Rule come back to take part, as well as not one but three new teams mix it up as well!

 Trivia Classic , our round one finished with Sylvia from Marketing make a surprise, birthday-led, appearance at The Ace! Karen from Finance, Cheryl from HR, etc, had returned under their latest corporate orientation, and led the field! Six points behind were Known by Matt Galloway, with Quizzillionaires two points behind them! In  Game Show Games  things shifted as Known by Matt Galloway (hey, us too!) had to leave, but they were replaced by Dassios! Dassios not only got on the board in round two but grabbed the TOP TEN answer in both Countdown Takedown and Survey Says to immediately compete with Quizzillionaires, who grabbed two points in Survey Says! Sylvia from Marketing kept the lead and added to it, with eight points in both of the first two Games, before adding another FIFTEEN points as the last team standing in Combo Breakdown!

Finally in  Tri-Pardo , the first question was rolled for fourteen points by Quizillionaires, while the second question was rolled for eleven points by Dassios, and the third question was also rolled for eleven by Sylvia from Marketing! Sylvia from Marketing added twenty-five points in Tri-Pardo, while Dassios up their total by twenty-two points, and Quizzilionaires lost three points! So heading into the Finale, Sylvia had gained quite the lead but would still have to wager because Dassios had fought their way to a potential tie-breaker with the former Golden VHS Champions!

When the  Finale  was answered however, it was Dassios who finished third, while Quizzilionaires had regained their runner-up spot... and scoring a new personal best, a new HIGH SCORE for THE ACE, crossing the Sesquicentennial Mark for the first time, SYLVIA FROM MARKETING won their THIRD GOLDEN VHS, and first at The Ace!
