Saturday Night Live Fantasy League presented by Trivia Club, is a Fantasy League like no other. Like Fantasy Football for the comedy nerd, participants draft cast members and prospective hosts before the start of the season and then are awarded points based of their performance through a scoring system. For additional points, before the start of each episode participants can guess which two songs they think the musical guest will perform. Since the beginning, this television institution has become the first step in the major leagues of comedy stardom, and with over forty seasons of familiar traditions, we’ve found a way to add maths to comedy and somehow make that a fun game to play.

 Trivia Classic  finished with The DDTs losing their moustaches, keeping the fact that they had them in their name, and adding an E as well to become a four person EDDTs with moustaches! The Wet Bandits were two points behind, back from last week when they were known as 2 Guys 1 Trivia 1 Girl. Excitement...! dirigibles, runner-up to Brewers Yeast Infection in October, was in third place! Two and a half points behind in fourth were newcomers The Zamboners, and rounding out the Top Five (top five, top five) were the lively Scissor Sisters!

 Game Show Games  began with a tough take for our Box Office Bullseye, which saw all teams fall short of the target and no points awarded! Survey Says was a different story, as the five teams in attendance ran the table, with The Wet Bandits grabbing the TOP TEN! Finally in Countdown Takedown, it was The Wet Bandits with the TOP TEN once again, while Scissors Sisters also guessed under with the opening bid, for eight points!

 Tri-Pardo  saw The Wet Bandits in first place going into round three, and also being selected for the opening category pick! They rolled sixteen points for their choice. Scissor Sisters got the second pick and rolled seventeen, while the third category was selected by The Zamboners who rolled fourteen points! This meant that forty-seven points were on the line in our third round! While The Wet Bandits were able to attain thirty-three points from the first and second questions, they did not get the most points in round three... nor did they have the lead anymore going into the Trivia Finale, because EDDTs with moustaches hit for the triple and got all forty-seven points available in round three!

It was a wonderfully competitive night of trivia, at The Rec Room, this past Tuesday night! Grand Champions from the east-end joined both regulars and newcomers in The Roundhouse to truly test the metal of the combined teams!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with Smartly Pretty, tonight known as I'm Sorry About Venom, in first place! Six and a half points behind Matt & Pat were Trivia Newton John! Four points behind them were newcomers Vicks Vixens, while four and a half points behind them were their table mates Woody Woo! Rounding out the first round Top Five (top five, top five) were One Man Army +3, three points off of fourth! Just outside of the Top Five were Dead on the Inside, and two and a half points behind this returning team were The Rec Room regulars Suck It Trebek - the remix (now with an additional generation!), who were all tied up with another regular duo, tonight known as Biggie Smalls for Mayor!

This meant that their was a wide amount of points to not only to be made up, but a whole lot of possibilities in round two!  Tri-Pardo  saw One Man Army +3 roll the first category for six points, while Dead on the Inside rolled the second category for sixteen points, and Trivia Newton John finally rolled the third category for fourteen points! In total, this meant that thirty-six points were on the line! All teams, save for Suck It Trebek - the remix, would gain thirty points in the third round, while both Biggie Smalls for Mayor and I'm Sorry About Venom would both hit for the triple and gain all thirty-six points! This led to the  Trivia Finale , with I'm Sorry About Venom in the lead but at least half the field within range if they did not go all-in, or especially answer the Trivia Finale correctly! A half and a full point were left behind by a couple of teams, but otherwise it was an all-in kinda night...

When the dust settled, Biggie Smalls for Mayor had finished in third and set a new personal best high score, while Trivia Newton John were runners-up on the night... and the GOLDEN VHS CHAMPS for the first time at The Rec Room but for the SIXTH time overall... I'M SORRY ABOUT VENOM! Academy award nominee Michelle Williams would be proud, as the team set a new high score for The Rec Room in 2018, the third highest score all-time in The Roundhouse. Matt & Pat are now also a third location away from a Triple Crown!

ANNOTATIONS for the NOVEMBER 2018 SCOREBOARD

• The top score on the November 2018 Monthly Scoreboard belongs to the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, who are not only back on the Scoreboard with the high score at Farside for November but also the inaugural Uncle Rubberknee’s Head of Class in our celebration of one year of Trivia Club at the Friendly Neighborhood ‘side! Their 164 points on November 7th was all they needed to lock in the Grand Championship by the end of the month!
• The highest score for November 2018 for a team that did not win a Golden VHS also belongs to the team that just missed out on the Gilded Skull, with the Cunning Stunts scoring 157 points at Farside on November 7th and finishing as runners-up against the Shaym-Aliens.
• Makin’ Wookiee won their tenth Golden VHS on November 26th with the high score at Hitch for the month, of 150 points!
• The highest score at The Ace for November 2018 belongs to 2 Fast 2 Curious, whose 101 points on November 14th ranks sixth overall on the Monthly Scoreboard but also helped lock in an unconventional threepeat which was only broken up in October by a lack of competition and the team formerly known as Last Place Team playing against one another.
• The highest score at The Rec Room for November 2018 goes to One Man Army +2 who scored 100 points on November 13th to win their first Golden VHS!
• One Man Army +4 would win the teams second Golden VHS on November 27th by scoring 80 points, the eleventh highest score of November 2018!
• Teams at Farside, bolstered by the heightened competition of the location's Grand Championship, make up five of the Top Ten for November 2018, with teams at The Rec Room and Hitch both making up two spots, and 2 Fast 2 Curious the lone representative for The Ace in November.
• Smartly Pretty, the Hitchens Cup winners of 2018, saw their three consecutive month appearance streak broken, while 2 Fast 2 Curious make it four consecutive months on the Monthly Scoreboard. Making their second consecutive Monthly Top Ten are Not Turner, The Rec Room Royalty of 2018, as well as Wookiee of the Year. The Fighting Mongooses, our reigning Golden VCR Grand Champions with the tenth highest score of November 2018, also make their second consecutive Scoreboard appearance and have now appeared on 10 of the 11 Monthly Scoreboards for 2018!
• The Mean Team for November 2018, the team with the high score closest to the board average, are... Brewers Yeast Infection with 110 points on November 7th (compared to the 120.6 point average)!
