Welcome one and all to a recap of Trivia Club at THE REC ROOM across Canada! We’re celebrating the CHAMPIONS and the TOP SCORES at The Rec Room locations in Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario, looking at how they did on the night, and how they stack up against each other! Last week on January 7th it was Cookiefaced at The Roundhouse in Toronto with the high score Canada-wide at Trivia Club! The TOP FIVE SCORES for Trivia Club at The Rec Room on January 14th, 2020 breakdown as follows:
The top score at LONDON ’s Masonville location, with guest-host James Hamilton (right, waving), belonged to Technically Correct! For the 65th event, the highest scoring team in Masonville history tied the fifth highest score in London with a 112 point night, the highest score Across Canada for this past week. Runners-up on the night were Our Trivia Team had a Drinking Problem with 90 points, the third highest score Across Canada! The third place team on the night, OK Let's See Cats, finished with the sixth highest score in the country with 58 points.
At The Rec Room Roundhouse in TORONTO with host and Trivia Club creator Russel Harder (left), newcomers Kyle and Friends stayed neck and neck with the regulars at Toronto and came out on top at the Finale question and 104 points to their name, the second-highest score Across Canada! With the 30th event at the South Commons in EDMONTON hosted by Ed Childs (not pictured), it was Skoden who won the night with 64 points! That score was also the fourth highest score Across Canada! Runners-up on the night, Bangalore's, had the sixth highest score in the country with 58 points!
For the premiere event at Deerfoot in CALGARY hosted by South Side Trivia's Sammy Jurkowski (not pictured), Curious Chimeras took the inaugural victory with 62 points! That 62 points also has Calgary make a debut appearance in the Top Five with the fifth-highest score Across Canada!
The 26th event was a return to the West Edmonton Mall in EDMONTON hosted by CTV's Graham Neil (not pictured), with The Reinhardt with the eighth highest score Across Canada, 56 points, for the win at West Ed! Well done, fam!
