With our return to Farside on May 15th, it was a night of history and of continued fun at the Friendly Neighborhood 'side of the street! Not only was it the thirty-first edition of Canada's Greatest Game Show at Farside, but also the 700th edition of Trivia Club all-time in Toronto, counting not just all the nights at Cardinal Rule, Hitch, and Lou Dawgs, but also Farside, The Ace, Handlebar, Wychwood Pub, and The Gladstone Hotel, not to mention additional events across Ontario's Capital! Thank you for supporting us through these seven years, and now 700 events!

Han Duo saw a returning participant of Trivia Club with a new partner leading the field after the first round of  Trivia Classic ! Three and a half points behind in second were 2 Fast 2 Curious, looking to make this historic night even more so with a Threepeat on the night, a feat that could make them the first team to win a Threepeat at three different locations! In third place were returning crowd favourites at Farside, Brewer's Yeast Infection, and one point behind them were newcomers Team Lithgow in fourth! Rounding out the Top Five (top five top five) were another pair of newcomers These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty! The remainder of the field saw 'Emet' A Golem in sixth, and It's The Thought That Counts rounding out the competition.

Our first of the  Game Show Games  in round two, saw three teams hit for points on the Box Office Bullseye, with These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty! picking up two points, while Team Lithgow and 2 Fast 2 Curious picked up five points a piece! Then in Survey Says, Team Lithgow grabbed the TOP TEN while It's The Thought That Counts grabbed six points, Han Duo grabbed four, and 2 Fast 2 Curious nabbed two points! Though 2 Fast 2 Curious had slipped to third, a half a point behind Han Duo who were themselves a half a point behind Team Lithgow, 2 Fast 2 Curious were able to get the TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown for a slight lead ahead of Team Lithgow, who picked up eight points, heading into the third round!

Finally it was time for our third round,  Tri-Pardo ! It's The Thought That Counts picked the first category and rolled for seventeen points before calling it a night, while Han Duo picked the second category and rolled for sixteen points, and finally 2 Fast 2 Curious picked the third category and rolled for fourteen points! This meant that forty-seven points were on the line for our 700th night of Trivia Club in Toronto! In a tough series of questions, These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty! played it safe and left the sheet blank, while Team Lithgow and Han Duo lost nineteen points after answering the first and second questions incorrect but getting the third question correct! 2 Fast 2 Curious would also lose three points, with an incorrect first question but a correct third question! Answering the first and third questions correctly and gaining thirty-one points were Brewer's Yeast Infection, catapulting our regulars at Farside into the lead before the Finale!

It was then a  Trivia Finale  that saw most every team go all-in, with those that did not go all-in, going more then all-in! This meant that the last answer was all the more important! Two of the final five teams wouldn't answer the Finale correctly, and those teams would finish tied for fourth, Team Lithgow... and 2 Fast 2 Curious! Having flown so high at Farside and after fighting to become Grand Champions in 2019, 2 Fast 2 Curious would not Threepeat once again on this night. In third place by half a point were These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty!, which put Han Duo in the number two spot on the night!

This meant that the winners of our 700th edition of Trivia Club in Toronto, and taking home their SECOND GOLDEN VHS on a last second Finale guess... BREWER'S YEAST INFECTION! They also finish the night with 108 points for their first win since October of 2018, while also winning the Linear Championship Belt!
