“Why would I go from being a serious actor, to doing reality TV…”
I was pleasantly surprised by Chadwick Boseman doing stand-up for the monologue
and not jumping into a song and dance number or the like, especially since he called out the fact that
the last two shows leading up to his gig had at least one Black Panther sketch
each and thus was really starting to limit what he might do on the show AS
Black Panther. For all of our Avengers prospectus host picks, Black Panther was
definitely the right get for Brian E’s Team You Wish You Hadn’t Started A Conversation
With At A Party, especially with Black Panther now the third highest
domestic grossing film of all-time, MORE THEN TITANIC, and with more Black
Panther set to be in Avengers: Infinity in two weeks.
Though Team You Wish You Hadn’t Started A Conversation
With At A Party picked up some big points, the money team of The Party Andersons really broke the
bank this week with near sixty-point nights from Kenan and Aidy and a quiet
forty-six points from Beck Bennet! Episodes are running out for the Hartman
Group to catch-up with Rob M’s team before the end of May!
We’ll see you all again when Saturday Night Live is hosted by…
wait this can’t be right… John Mulaney?! Santa got my letter! Expect a lot of explanations
and also a whole lot of cameos from the last generation of cast members. Also
also… is it too much to ask to have Larry David and/or Conan, or even Bob
Odenkerk stop by to talk about just how weird and wonderful it is to have a
celebrated former writer without a movie career come by to promote his stand-up
special?! I’m very happy about this turn of events is what I’m saying.
LAST EPISODE: BILL HADER
NEXT EPISODE: JOHN MULANEY
