I t was a wonderful, unpredictable night of Trivia Club at The Rec Room, with events taking place in the Three10 Restaurant being just the first surprise of the night! Returning Champions and new faces to the Greatest Game Show in Toronto took part in our nineteenth event, enjoying rewards of candy, travel mugs, and of course four game wrist bands, each with two hours worth of play on them, from our friends from the Trophy Room! At the end of the night, who would win the Golden VHS?!

 Trivia Classic  ended with a familiar team in the top spot after round one! Making their first appearance in ten events, but once again getting some sweet sweet candy as a result, were Team Name! In second place after one, and also with candy as a result, were I Have No Idea! Shark Sandwich was in third place, one and a half points ahead of Galloping Gargoyles, with past Golden VHS Champs Better Late Than... Pregnant rounding out the Top Five (top five, top five), and Mordifame rounding out the hungry field!

 Tri-Pardo , our second round at The Rec Room, saw Team Name roll the first question for eight points, I Have No Idea rolling the second question for fourteen points, and Shark Sandwich rolling the third question for thirteen points, putting a total of thirty-five points on the line! The Galloping Gargoyles, Shark Sandwich, and Better Late Than... would get the first, second and third questions correct, respectively, but it would be Team Name who would hit for the triple and really shift their night into high gear heading into the Finale! Yes, the three-time Champs at The Rec Room were now just one question away from their fourth Golden VHS!

 Trivia Finale  wagering saw most teams going all-in, with newcomers Woodfield who found themselves in the minus after a less then successful Tri-Pardo deciding to play with house money to swing things in a more successful direction! Team Name were feeling more confident however, and wagering only twenty points put themselves in a position for the field to catch-up! Shark Sandwich had the best chance, but after wagering was all figured out, the Galloping Gargoyles had also given themselves a chance to win the night... two teams had to work with them however, and against themselves.

Only two teams would get the Finale question correct, as well! Those two teams being Woodfiield, who entered late but still finished in third place after it was all said and done, and the Galloping Gargoyles!

This meant that, yes, the GALLOPING GARGOYLES were the GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONS on the night, finishing with 66 points to Team Name's 57 points, seeing Team Name finish as runners-up in this sudden turn of events! The Galloping Gargoyles are now the sixteenth different winner in nineteen events at The Rec Room! Only two teams have won multiple Golden VHS, with one of them being Team Name. That makes teams at The Rec Room the most diverse group of winners for any Trivia Club location at this point in a location's run. The Rec Room is truly the land of opportunity for Trivia Club!
