W e had a great crossover with a corporate event at The Rec Room this past Tuesday, which saw locals and returning teams competing with all sorts of office types! Yes, in what looks to be our last event in The Hall for 2017 before we return next week in the upper Three10 restaurant, it was a tightly fought night!

 Trivia Classic  saw the Sun Life Superstars take the lead after the first round, who themselves had a good lead on the nearest competition, Better Late Than...! Two points behind Better Late were the returning and excellently named Tequila Mockingbird, making their third appearance! Four points behind the T.M. were Chumbuckets, while Paddy L-Train rounded out the field!

 Tri-Pardo  then saw Chumbuckets roll the first question for six points, while Better Late Than... rolled the second question for nineteen points, and The Paddy L-Train rolled the third question for another six points! Yes, this meant that a nice round 31 points were up for grabs! Tequila Mockingbird and Chumbuckets grabbed nineteen points each, with the Buckets also getting the first question correct but in turn also getting the third question incorrect. Better Late Than... kept the second place spot heading towards the Finale with twenty-five points in round two at The Rec Room, while the Sun Life Superstars hit for the triple and grabbed the thirty-one points to strengthen their lead before the Finale!

In our third and  Trivia Finale  round in The Hall, all teams wagered everything... all teams save for Tequila Mockingbird, who sensed that playing their card of wagering nothing was their chance for that Golden VHS! Not everyone would get the Finale correct as well... but ultimately two teams would. The top two teams at the end of the first round, and as it turned, at the end of the night! Finishing as runners-up were Better Late Than... newcomers on the night, not to be confused with the Golden VHS Champs at Cardinal Rule from a few months prior.

First and gold winners, and GOLDEN VHS CHAMPS on the night were the SUN LIFE SUPERSTARS! They become the first overtly corporate winners at Trivia Club, so well done! Share that Golden VHS with the office at large and enjoy making it a part of the Sun Life architecture!
