At the end of  Trivia Classic  it was the Festive Mongooses (a seasonally specific kinda fight) with the early lead on the field! They held two and a half points on Wookiee of the Year, who themselves had a half point advantage on newcomers Three and A Half Men! In fourth was were the friends of a returning team but with that teams past name, Team Rocket, who had a lead of one point on The Phenomenal Folks from Laramie Cigarettes, who rounded out the first round Top Five (top five, top five)! In sixth were the team formerly known as Rocket and now known as Team Delibird, while Team Molly was in seventh and had nothing to do with Pokemon! The Permanent Residents would have had a solid sixth place spot if they had stuck around after the first round, but they put in a good round one none the less!

 Game Show Games  began with a classic Countdown Takedown, which saw Wookiee of the Year grab the first TOP TEN, but fail to take the lead as the Festive Mongooses nabbed eight points and kept things to their advantage by half a point. The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes gave themselves a boost with the second TOP TEN of round two in Survey Says, while Delibird, Molly and the Mongooses all picked up points as well! Finally, in an unpredictable back and forth, it was Team Rocket of all teams who inserted themselves into the potentially gold fray when they became last team standing in Combo Breakdown with THIRTEEN POINTS to their name!

In  Tri-Pardo , though it was any teams game to be won, the rolls would certainly make it a memorable cap to the night! With the first question the Good (nay, Phenomenal!) Folks from Laramie Cigarettes rolled nineteen points! The second question was rolled for eighteen points by Team Rocket, and the THIRD question was rolled for nat TWENTY on the first try by the Festive Mongooses! Those Mongooses join Trivial Knowledge, the Cunning Stunts, and David Bowie's Corporate Whores as teams who've rolled that 20, twice or more! This meant a night shifting FIFTY-SEVEN POINTS were up for grabs, rarified air that hadn't been seen since the the second leg of this year's Hitchens Cup! The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes took a swing at all three questions, and in doing so made big contact for a massive triple for the pre-Finale lead! Gaining thirty-eight points each, and shifting into second third before the FInale were Wookiee of the Year and Three and A Half Men! Gaining thirty-seven points off the first and second questions were Team Rocket, while Team Delibird lost points on the first question, but answered the next two correct for nineteen points! Losing ground on the field, but finding eighteen points off of question two were the Festive Mongooses!

This shifted the night towards The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes of course, and some big potential scores, all around! With the  Finale , the field felt it and aside from Delibird going half-in and the Mongooses leaving eleven off, all teams were doing all-in! Would it prove a kind Finale?! You could say that! Finishing in fifth, but still with a personal best score of 140 were the Festive Mongooses! Crossing the Sesquicentennial Mark on their first night were Three and A Half Men in third, and Team Rocket in fourth! Finishing the night as runners-up were Wookiee of the Year, four points ahead of Three and A Half...

The nights GOLDEN VHS WINNERS, their tenth without company, and their eleventh at Hitch, but their TWELFTH GOLDEN VHS overall... with 203 points, the highest score for any solo participant all-time at Trivia Club... THE GOOD, THE PHENOMENAL FOLKS FROM LARAMIE CIGARETTES! And yes, including Farside this is their second consecutive event that they've taken home that Golden VHS!
