Trivia Club return to The Rec Room Roundhouse for another competitive trio of rounds of Canada’s Greatest Game Show! Would we see a first time Champ on this night or would the rivalry to see who would be The Rec Room’s winningest team, continue on with aplomb?

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with The Questionables in the top spot after our first round. Still looking for their first VHS in 2020, The Questionables had a two-point lead on Cookiefaced, who had been on a tear since as early as September and their Grand Championship Roundhouse Royale win and as recently as their threepeat of wins to begin this year! In third place were the First Timerz, featuring a friend of our St. John’s Trivia Club host, who held a point and a half lead on Bloo Pu$$ycats!

 Game Show Games  then saw Cookiefaced shift into the lead with a TOP TEN point total in Countdown Takedown, while Bloo Pu$$ycats picked up eight points, First Timerz picked up six points, and The Questionables gained four points! Then in Survey Says, The Questionables once again picked up four points, First Timerz nabbed two points, and Cookiefaced once again got that TOP TEN!

 Tri-Pardo  rolls saw The Questionables pick first and roll for eighteen points, while First Timerz went second and rolled five points, while finally the leaders of the field, Cookiefaced chose third and rolled for seventeen points! This meant that forty total points were up for grabs! Cookiefaced, The Questionables, and First Timerz would all hit for the triple and grab those forty points! This meant that Cookiefaced held their ten point lead on The Questionables, and First Timerz were not far behind those Questionables, off by five and a half points!

 Trivia Finale  wagering saw everyone go all in on finale question however, save for Cookiefaced who gave themselves an out if everyone did get the question incorrect by leaving two points on the board! This still meant that Cookiefaced was going to win they would have to get the Finale correct…

That they did! With everyone answering correctly, The Questionables finished as runners-up for the second straight week with 126 points on this night. Winning their SEVENTEENTH GOLDEN VHS… now just one away from matching their friendly rivals… and winner of five of 2020’s seven events so far… COOKIEFACED!
