This past Monday saw the Sesquicentennial event at Hitch, our Black Label location and the longest-running location (by days, if not events) in the history of Trivia Club! We were joined at our Home Away of Hitch by some of the longest time competitors, and a long time participant of Trivia Club had not been at Hitch for more then a few years! Those teams, and new comers all came to vie for the 150th Golden VHS at Queen and Leslie!

 Trivia Classic  saw the Fighting Mongooses, making their return for a forty-fifth straight event (now three away from the single location record), looking to defend their Golden VHS win from two weeks before! Four and a half points behind in second, making just their fourth appearance at Hitch and their first since September of 2015 (more then one hundred events ago) as part of the second annual Hitchens Cup, were Team Name! Team Name had a six and a half point lead over one of the winners of the second annual Cup winners in 2015, the Trusty Rumpets, now his own one man band... The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes! Laramie himself had just half a point up on a two-person Wookiees & Cream! Yes, Neil was back behind the bar, so for just the second time in 2019, Wookiee was on the board! Rounding out the field were two game newcomers, on this night known as Trebek's Rejects!

 Game Show Games  then saw the second round begin with a tricky Box Office Bullseye which had every team guessing miss the point range, including the Fighting Mongooses who were juuuust .2 away from an additional two points! In Survey Says however, it was the Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes that grabbed the TOP TEN, while the Fighting Mongooses grabbed eight points! In Countdown Takedown then it was the Fighting Mongooses nabbing the TOP TEN, followed by Wookiees & Cream with eight points!

 Tri-Pardo  then saw the Good Folks roll for five on the first category, while Wookiees & Cream rolled for sixteen points, and Team Name rounded out the ico time topping our at ten points on the third question! This meant that thirty-one points were on the line, and the Fighting Mongooses continued their strong night and their lead by hitting the triple for thirty-one points! Trebek's Rejects gained fifteen points off the first and third questions, while the rest of the field gained twenty-one points by either answering the first and second question correctly, or answering the second and third correct but the first incorrect!

In the  Trivia Finale , even though the Fighting Mongooses had built themselves a lead they would still have to answer the last question correctly… but alas, only one team would… and that team would be TEAM NAME! Winning their TWENTY-EIGHTH GOLDEN VHS, and first since March at The Rec Room, but also their SECOND Golden VHS at Hitch after nearly four years away! The Fighting Mongooses were runners-up on the night with 13 points, having almost scored 174, while Team Name finished the night with 141 points!
