After an additional week away for the good of the NBA Finals, Trivia Club returned to Hitch as part of the Raptors Long Weekend in Toronto! Yes, post-parade festivities had left things quiet in Ontario's Capital, but we were left by a wonderful selection of regular faces and new spins on old favorites at our longest-running current location, the Black Label limited edition of Hitch Limited!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with the Fighting Mongooses in the lead! Making their forty-third consecutive appearance at Hitch, the Fighting Mongooses have fully cemented an appearance streak only currently exceeded by 2 Fast 2 Curious (then known as Last Place Team) of 47 consecutive events as weekly competitors at Cardinal Rule in 2017, and because of the twice monthly schedule at Hitch, the Fighting Mongooses have in fact not missed an event since late 2017! Thank you, Mongooses! Seven points behind them were The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes! Arnis was also taking another historical step at Hitch, as this was his sixty-first event as The Good Folks, which meant he had not only surpassed his old team the Trusty Rumpets in appearances but was now tied for all-time appearances with Wookiee of the Year! Yes, now that Neil was no longer working on Mondays, seeing Wookiee at Hitch for Trivia Club had become a special occasion! The tradition continued however with a new bartender led team by the name of Quincy Margo Smokey-Bandido who were eight points behind Laramie!

 Game Show Games  then brought forward a Box Office Bulls-eye that the Fighting Mongooses not only hit the Bulls-eye on but in fact hit it so exactly that they split the proverbial arrow for the TOP TEN down to the tenth! WOW! Quincy Margo Smokey-Bandido then got the TOP TEN in Survey Says, while the Fighting Mongooses got six points and Good Folks from Laramie grabbed four points! Finally in Countdown Takedown, the Fighting Mongooses gamed their way to the TOP TEN while the rest of the field were juuuust over! This meant that the Mongooses had grabbed a strong lead heading into the third round but the night was in fact far from over.

 Tri-Pardo  had Quincy Margo Smokey-Bandido pick the first category and roll two points, while the Fighting Mongooses got the second category choice and rolled nine points, and finally the Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes picked the third category and rolled for seventeen points! This meant that twenty-eight points were on the line! Hitting for the triple were both the Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes and Quincy Margo Smokey-Bandido, who both gained those twenty-eight points, while the Fighting Mongooses gained two points on the first question but lost nine on the second question to grab a net loss of seven points in the third round! This meant that suddenly the Good Folks from Laramie had jumped into the lead by six points after the third round, and Quincy Margo had TIED with the Fighting Mongooses!

In the  Trivia Finale , with Quincy Margo Smokey-Bandido only wagering nine and a half, and Fighting Mongooses wagering all but ten, the Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes continued to burrrrn it down and went all in like AEW! Ultimately with all three teams getting the last question correctly...

This meant that the GOOD FOLKS FROM LARAMIE CIGARETTES won their EIGHTEENTH GOLDEN VHS and fifteenth at Hitch! The Good Folks finished the night with 131 points, their first win at Trivia Club since November at Hitch, while the Fighting Mongooses were runners-up on the night with 109 points, and Quincy Margo Smokey-Bandido were third place with 69 points (nice)!

Congratulations once again to the Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes, and thank you to everyone who came out after being paraded throughout the center of downtown Toronto and the celebratory traffic chaos there-in!
