Adam Sandler made a feel good return to Saturday Night Live after
far far too long! It’s wild to think that Sandler (as well as Dan Akroyd it
would seem) took nine days short of TWENTY-FOUR YEARS to be brought back as a
host of Saturday Night Live! Then again I’m sure they asked, and he likely hadn’t
come to peace with his old home. He did not get a heroes goodbye but he
certainly got a heroes welcome.
Speaking of wild first-time hosts, Emma Thompson has a sketch
background as well and is somehow JUST NOW hosting Saturday Night Live with
musical guest and fans of multiple weddings, the Jonas Brothers! Expect an
over/under of three guest appearances connected to Thompson and the Brothers
Jonas.
