Trivia Classic came to an end with French Triviera returning from their debut last week with a top spot in the first round! They had a one point lead on Cloud, Please! Otherwise known as the Cloud Pleasers, they are a reoccurring mix of familiar M. Night Shaym-Aliens! Half a point behind them in third place were Let It Beep, also making a return, who were a point ahead of Teal Bedding making their debut with a cool and comfy team name! Rounding out the top five, tied with Teal Bedding, were the returning Toya's Destroyas! Just outside of the first five were One Man Army +2!
It was not over for that One Man Army + however, as they proved to be one of two teams who would hit for the triple and grab all 43 points available in the Tri-Pardo round! Also making a big step forward were a returning Team Instinct! With both teams jumping forward with 43 points, Instinct found themselves in front of Cloud, Please while One Man Army +2 were suddenly leading the field, three and a half points ahead of the nearest competition, Teal Bedding... who had gained thirty-nine points from the first and second Tri-Pardo questions but lost a very important four points on the third!
Still, it all came down to the Trivia Finale , and with most all teams going all in... Team Instinct left one point off, while Toya's Destroyas wagered nothing at all. Ultimately it was up to one team to get that answer correctly though...
They did answer correctly! Teal Bedding finished as runners-up with 103 points. Winning their THIRD GOLDEN VHS on their sixth appearance, one on every other appearance, ONE MAN ARMY +2 with 110 points! Congratulations to them, and thank you to everyone who came out to compete at our penultimate edition of Trivia Club at The Rec Room for 2018!
