at The Ace: 2 Fast 2 Curious, November 14th 2018 THREEPEAT TRIVIA CLUB CHAMPS

It was the second attempt at what would now be an unconventional threepeat for 2 Fast 2 Curious! After being the only team playing to end October at The Ace, could they beat the field and become the first team to threepeat twice?!
Round one finished in the favor of the former Last Place Team, as 2 Fast 2 Curious led the field after Trivia Classic ! In second place were the Alex Tre- Bests, while also returning to our lo-fi late night location were Chillasaurus almuni, also known as Bill Murray's Receeding Hairline, and on this night known as Earl's Screen Time (42 minutes below average) just two and a half points off of second but one and a half ahead of our fourth place team the Silver Medalists.
In Game Show Games , Earl's Screen Time made a quick push forward with our first TOP TEN in the returning Box Office Bullseye, across all Trivia Club locations! 2 Fast 2 Curious were also able to grab at least 2 points as well on the BOB! Earl's Screen Time then followed that up with yet another TOP TEN in Survey Says, while Alex Tre-Bests nabbed eight points, 2 Fast 2 Curious took six points, and Silver Medalists got four points. 2 Fast 2 Curious then held off the surging competition with a TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown by grabbing the TOP TEN! Earl's Screen Time were still able to get eight points, while Silver Medalists added another six points!
This led to a tough Tri-Pardo round that saw 2 Fast 2 Curious roll for five points on the first question, while Earl's Screen Time rolled for thirteen points on the second question, and Silver Medalists found a way to be remembered with a TWENTY rolled on the third question! With all these points on the line... points could be lost! In fact 2 Fast 2 Curious would prove to be the only team not to lose points, as they gained five points, and then Earl's Screen Time, Alex Tre-Bests, and Silver Medalists, lost eighteen, twenty-eight, and thirty-eight points respectively! This meant that 2 Fast 2 Curious had shifted into control for the Finale even if they didn't know it!

Still, 2 Fast 2 Curious went all in save for one, and with Earl's Screen Time leaving seven on the board that meant that 2 Fast 2 Curious either had to get the Trivia Finale correct... or they would lose their chance at the first threepeat at The Ace!
In their debut at The Ace, 2 Fast 2 Curious broke up a potential threepeat from the initial trivia team to beat at our lo-fi late night location, The Simple Minds! Now with the finale answered and 101 points to their name, 2 FAST 2 CURIOUS were THREEPEAT GOLDEN VHS CHAMPS at The Ace! They become not only the fifth team to accomplish a threepeat, but the first team to THREEPEAT TWICE, having previously and most recently done so in 2017 as Last Place Team at Cardinal Rule! Before they had done so, The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes had threepeat at Hitch, and in 2016 The Electric Mayhem had set records and become the first team to threepeat at Our Original Home of Cardinal Rule! Finally the first team to reach this feat was the Cunning Stunts at Lou Dawgs in 2015! This is also the EIGHTEENTH Golden VHS for the team formerly known as Last Place Team!

Congrats once again to 2 Fast 2 Curious, who won an unconventional threepeat if their ever was one! Defeating the teams on had on our thirteenth and fourteenth edition of Trivia Club at The Ace, before being the only team to compete at The Ace two weeks ago, which only slowed down their Golden VHS winning ways on this the sweet sixteenth edition of Trivia Club at The Ace! Thank you to everyone who came out to compete! We will see you all again NEXT MONTH when we return to The Ace on December 12th for our final edition of Trivia Club at our lo-fi late night location for 2018!
