We made the most of an unpredictable night at Farside, this past Wednesday, as the first week of June saw Shelby of the M. Night Shaym-Aliens going for an especially rare personal threepeat! The competition would have something to say about that, while microphone difficulties and the good folks from Lady Marmalade joined us at Chinatown East's friendly neighbourhood watering home, for a game show party!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with, amid the party and projection, with the M. Night Shaym-Aliens holding the lead! In second place just a few points behind was Matt of the Electric Bastards, et al, and another familiar face, who was also part of the Oscar night Champions earlier this year at The Rec Room, as The Popular Slut Club! They had a half a point lead on The Man with the Candy, who were in fact also part of the Lady Marmalade staff party! In fourth place were the magic card-carrying newcomers Team Team! The Marmaladies and Lads were in fifth, while newcomers at the couch Zangief were in sixth! Rounding out the field were Uber RN, followed by The Team Formerly Known as Prince, but also know as one of the good folks at Good Cheese!

 Game Show Games  then saw the M. Night Shaym-Aliens grab the first TOP TEN of round two, while the Popular Slut Club nabbed eight points! With no one getting the TOP TEN in Survey Says it was the Shaym-Aliens growing their lead with eight points, while Zangief grabbed six points! As the 'Side was still mic free, we decided to forgo the Combo and jump into round three!

 Tri-Pardo  then saw Team Team roll for nineteen for the first question, the M. Night Shaym-Aliens rolled for seven points for the second question, and finally The Man with the Candy rolled for another nineteen points for the third question! The Man with the Candy would take a big swing with the second and third questions and lose twenty-six points as a result, falling out of contention! Meanwhile Team Team added twelve points, after gaining nineteen with the first question but losing seven points on the second question. The M. Night Shaym-Aliens had the same result, also for twelve points, but they kept the lead as The Popular Slut Club gained nineteen but then lost that nineteen with the third question which was as close as it could possibly be! This led to a Finale in which All teams were going all-in, and thus the M. Night Shaym-Aliens simply needed to get that last question correct to ensure their win on a wild and crazy night!

The question was theire's to answer correctly, as Zangief did some catching up to finish in third after a correct answer in the  Finale  category that they had chosen, and Matt and friend as the Popular Slut Club finished as runners-up with eighty points, but with their TWENTY-NINTH GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONSHIP... the winners on the night were the M. NIGHT SHAYM-ALIENS! With one-hundred and thirty-two points not only was this one win closer to thirty for the crew, but it continued a personal THREEPEAT for Shelby of the Shaym-Aliens, who over the last three events at Farside  has won all three times with a total of five different teammates, a different selection of wonderful Shaym-Aliens every time! Dylan may be the Shaym-Aliens captain, but folks I think Shelby can be called the Shaym-Ali-Ace! Only Mark P. of the Cunning Stunts has won more times in a row, outside of teams, with four VHS wins in a row, while Matthew Smith was indeed the constant for the Electric Mayhem threepeat in 2016!
