The Greatest Game Show in Toronto returned to your friendly neighbourhood Farside, with the third week of June bringing the twelfth edition of Trivia Club which is found every first and third Wednesday of the month just east of Broadview and Gerrard!

With the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, and more to the point Shelby the Shaym-Ali-Ace, not taking part in the night's festivities, then a new Golden VHS champ would be crowned for the first time since the latter half of April! Andy Winners Czar had the lead after our  Trivia Classic  round, with the team making their second appearance at Farside after also having competed at Hitch, for a three and a half point advantage on Plants and Feelings! Newcomers P & F had a three and a half point lead on the returning Team OZMA, with Oz and co. themselves also having a three and a half point lead (no, really) on newcomers and friends of Farside 416 Compassion, to round out the first round field at your friendly neighborhood watering hole!

Our second round of  Game Show Games  saw Plants and Feelings not only catch up to Andy Winners Czar but surpass the first round leaders, with a TOP TEN point answer in not only Countdown Takedown but also Survey Says, while Andy Winners Czar grabbed four points in the first two Game Show Games! 416 grabbed ten points total in the first two games, as did Ozma! The night further turned in favour of Plants and Feelings, when they proved to be the last team standing in the Combo Breakdown, before doubling their combo for THIRTEEN POINTS!

This meant that going into the third round of  Tri-Pardo  at Farside, Plants and Feelings had the advantage on the field and even Ozma and 416 Compassion were now tight with Andy Winners Czar! Andy Winners Czar rolled the first question for three points, 416 Compassion rolled a nat TWENTY for the second question, and Plants and Feelings rolled nineteen points on the third question! All together it an impressive thirty-nine points up for grabs! Ozma gained nineteen points but then lost twenty-three, for a net loss of four points in round three! Plants and Feelings gained nineteen points, while 416 Compassion also gained nineteen points, but lost three of those from the first question! Finally Andy Winners Czar also lost three points on the first question, but gained points off the second AND third questions for a thirty-six point boost that brought them within six and a half points of the leaders once again!

With the  Finale  question Ozma and 416 Compassion knew they needed to go all in, though Ozma left one and 416 Compassion left half a point behind on the board just in case, while the two teams with sixty plus were less pedal to the metal! In fact it was Plants and Feelings who only wagered ten points even though they had the lead, while Andy Winners Czar wagered slightly more then half of their sixty-three... which meant that they could regain the lead on the last question, all they needed to do was get the Finale correct!

That was just what they did! And the winners were... with their FIRST GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONSHIP, and finishing the night with ninety-five points, ANDY WINNERS CZAR! Well done gents, they held off more then game newcomers in Plants and Feelings who finished as runners-up with a five point advantage on 416 Compassion in third.
