O n the Family Day edition of Trivia Club It was an intimate affair, with three teams going head-to-head-to-head and one of them looking to repeat as Golden VHS Champs, as the other two teams were looking for their first ever win! 

After Trivia Classic, it was newcomer Scorpion Soup for the Soul with the advantage over the field with two and a half points on Steve & Chris II (yes, making THEIR first Trivia Club appearance as well) and a three and a half point advantage on the returning Champs now with more Robb, The Phenomenal Pholks Phrom Laramie Cigarettes! This led to a topsy turvy section round of Game Show Games which saw the leaders Scorpion Soup grab a further advantage with the TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown and the top eight in a difficult to nail down Survey Says! Still, the Good Folks from Laramie weren't far behind with a full fourteen points after the first two games, while Steve & Chris II could only grab six in Countdown Takedown! Finally in the C-C-Combo Breakdown it was a real back and forth battle between Scorpion Soup for the Soul and the Phenomenal Pholks, but it was Scorpion Soup for the Soul that took SEVENTEEN POINTS, while Laramie Cigarettes kept up the chase with an additional six points!

Finally in round three, the Tri-Pardo added up to a total of twenty-eight points thanks to the icosahedron, with the first question giving teams six points, the second question giving them a traditional fifteen, and the third question giving them seven points! The Good Folks were able to get the first and third questions correct, giving them thirteen points, while Steve & Chris II did the same... but ALSO got the second question in correct to lose two points, and Scorpion Soup for the Soul did get the third question right... but lost points on the middle question, thus losing eight points, and just like giving room to The Phenomenal Pholks from Laramie Cigarettes to take the lead into the Finale question!

And for the Finale, it was Laramie Cigarettes who left four and a half points on the field while Scorpion Soup for the Soul bet twenty, likely hedging their bets just in came all teams go the answer wrong though not knowing if Laramie Cigarettes had the power to over take them for the Golden VHS...

Which is exactly what happened, as THE GOOD FOLKS FROM LARAMIE CIGARETTES repeated as CHAMPS at Hitch this past Monday, becoming SIX-TIME GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONS in the process! Congrats to Laramie Cigarettes, who becomes the first team other then the Trusty Rumpets in their multiple iterations to go back-to-back at Hitch, and the first team to go back-to-back since the summer of '16!
