 W e returned to our east-end home at Hitch, with an able and competitive cross-section of teams ready to take home and display their very own Golden VHS! Who would walk out in celebration, with gold AND the first two volumes of Jeff Lemire's Descendants?!

After the first round of Trivia Classic, it was the Trusty Rumpets our returning champions (and all-time leaders on most all things at Hitch), in the lead with a six point edge. In second place after the first was Duh-Nuh*, with nineteen and a half points! Duh-Nuh* are better known as SHARK, a legacy team from the first year at Hitch who last competed at the 32nd edition of Hitch's Trivia Club on January 19th, 2015! Two and a half points behind them where Tiny Tim's Tip-Top Telepathic Television Trauma to Tweak Tender Tony's Toenails! They in turn were two points ahead of their comrads, tonight known as 3 Best (X-Mas) Friends! Two points behind them, in fifth, were the returning Battle Toast! Rounding out the field, just half a point behind their friends Battle Toast, were the always delightful... hey dummy!

Game Show Games began with Countdown Takedown, a new thing for Duh-Nuh*, who were blanked in our first game show, while Tiny Tim's... picked up the TOP TEN! Also scoring points in Takedown, were the 3 Best (X-Mas) Friends and Battle Toast! Next up in Survey Says it was Tiny Tim's Tip-Top Telepathic Television Trauma to Tweak Tender Tony's Toenails picking up their second TOP TEN of the night, while Duh-Nuh* grabbed six points, the 3 Best (X-Mas) Friends picked up another four points, and Trusty Rumpets nabbed two points! Finally in Combo Breakdown, hey dummy and 3 Best (X-Mas) Friends fell early, and Battle Toast picked up a point but were next to be eliminated! Finally, Tiny Tim's... were eliminated with three points to their name, as were the Trusty Rumpets, meaning Duh-Nuh* were last team standing with THIRTEEN POINTS in their first Combo Breakdown!

Now just shy of that first place spot, Duh-Nuh* carried their momentum forward, and hit for the triple, grabbing forty-five points in Tri-Pardo! Trusty Rumpets picked up twenty-five points for their troubles, while Tiny Tim's Tip-Top Telepathic Television Trauma to Tweak Tender Tony's Toenails were tripped up and still escaped the third round with five additional points but fell to third place heading into the Finale! Then in that Finale, our selected teams went in on varying degrees of ALL IN...

When all was said and done it was DUH-NUH* with their THIRD GOLDEN VHS, and their first crossing of the Sesquicentennial Mark as they finished with 167 points on an impressive return! Their third win comes exactly two years and four days after their first Golden VHS as SHARK!
