 I n a week that saw both returning teams and new teams win big, you would think the unexpected was all accounted for... but wait, there's more! Yes, at Cardinal Rule the Original Home of Trivia Club presented by Amsterdam Brewery we got not only the 132nd appearance all-time for Team Name, and the 38th appearance of 2016 for Last Place Team, but also the return of Lowered Expectations and an introduction to Ivanna Wynn!

After the first round of Trivia Classic, it was Last Place Team with the lead on the field with Team Name just five points behind! Four points behind Team Name were the returning Lowered Expectations! Two points behind them, rounding out the field were Ivanna Wynn!

Game Show Games saw Lowered Expectations got closest but juuuuust barely go over on our Countdown Takedown! Last Place Team played the odds and grabbed the first TOP TEN! This was followed with eight points for Team Name, and six points for Ivanna Wynn! Wynn grabbed another six points in Survey Says, while Lowered Expectations nabbed eight, Last Place Team took four points of their own... and Team Name grabbed the TOP TEN! Finally in Combo Breakdown, it was a battle between Last Place Team and Team Name... with LAST PLACE TEAM as the last team standing for FIFTEEN POINTS!

Then in Tri-Pardo it was an unpredictable assortment of results as incorrect answers all effected the field in different ways! Team Name were hit with negative FIFTEEN points, while Lowered Expectations and Ivanna Wynn both gained five points! This helped move Ivanna Wynn into second place before the Trivia Finale, but they still had to catch up to Last Place Team who stood in first place after taking in twenty-five points in the third round giving them almost three times the points of their nearest competition!

In the Finale, we saw an unexpected turn of events however, when Lowered Expectations and Last Place Team answered incorrectly they fell out of contention of the Golden VHS in equal measure... but because Team Name went all in, and Ivanna Wynn played things safely... both teams finished with forty points, meaning for only the THIRD TIME at Cardinal Rule... we HAD A TIE!

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: FIFTH QUESTION TIE-BREAKER!

Yes, for only the fifth time ALL-TIME in the history of Trivia Club, a tie-breaking fifth question was needed! And though this was the first time at Trivia Club for Ivanna Wynn, and the one-hundred and thirty-second time at Trivia Club for Team Name... neither team had ever experienced a tie-breaker! In fact not since the 49th edition of Trivia Club at Cardinal Rule had their been a tie at our Original Home!

So... both teams left standing wagered on the Fifth Question, and both team used their power to wager 20 tie-breaking points! When the dust settled on the Fifth Question however, only one team was left with the correct answer...

With their FIRST GOLDEN VHS on their first appearance, a night on which they had not even planned to partake in trivia, IVANNA WYNN had won it! Yes, down to the wire and then past that wire, at our 191st edition of Trivia Club it was proven that anything was still possible!
