November 06, 2014

ANNOTATIONS for the OCTOBER 2014 TOP TEN SCOREBOARD

  • Only two results on the Scoreboard took place after the first week of competition. And they were both Golden VHS winners in the final two weeks of the month, at Lou Dawg's Ryerson. The three day span of the 6th to the 8th of October had seven teams in the Top Ten.
  • The Rusty Trumpets were the only two-time winners on the month, and were tied for 11th, giving them the only chance to appear twice on this month's scoreboard.
  • Also tied for 11th were The French Canadians, the team which holds the honor of latest entry to win a Golden VHS, as they started playing during the final Game Show Game: Countdown Takedown. The French Canadians finished with 60 points.
  • The month's highest score, care of the Rusty Trumpets, was also the highest score at Hitch. The I Didn't Do It Dancers had the highest score at our last event at Handlebar (and as an aside, it was also the all-time highest score at the location). The Bastards had the highest score at Lou Dawg's for the month of October, and first-time Golden VHS winners the Total Douchebags had Cardinal Rule's highest score.
  • Once again three teams at the top of the standings, this time in the top four, came from Hitch on the 6th of October.
