April 13th we celebrated the ninth anniversary of Trivia Club, and in doing so it felt only right to bring you the fifth annual Trivial Awards LIVE from the Trivia Clubhouse! As an added bonus, especially for your host, we did so over Zoom! This gave us the chance not only to add additional audio and video clues but also it was a chance to see all of your faces! Yes, every Tuesday you’re able to see me hosting trivia, but I’ve missed the chance to interact with the community. It proved the perfect anniversary present. Trivial Awards were handed out throughout the evening, the winners of which can be found here, while questions were asked! Ending the evening with the top score of 45 points was The Ghost of Bebe Rebozo! Runners-up on the night with 44 points was Down by the Bay! With 41 points, in third place, were 2 Fast 2 Curious. Rounding out the Top Five (top five top five) were a trio of teams with 39 points, including the Cunning Stunts, Cookiefaced, and Team Reince Priebus’s Rancid Pubis!

Just one point outside the top five, with 38 points each, were Thanks to Candice and The “You Have No Friends” Award-Winning Matthew Smith! With 37 points on the night were the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, while The Questionables finished with 35 points! With 34 points were the Travel Buddies, with 27.5 points was Your Producer (and mine), and Team Uno Persona ended the night with 10 points!

Thank you all once again for joining in over Zoom, it was a ton of fun! My own technical difficulties and learning experience recording over Zoom won’t allow me to include the full recording of the Trivial Awards and I will hold onto it for the memories.
