For the penultimate edition of Trivia Club at Hitch we found a wonderful mix of returning Champions from not only across our years at the Black Label location but also from just this past year. Who would walk away with the other half of The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly? Would they have a high enough score to take the cover of that double tape set?

Trivia Classic  came to an end with Matt Smith of Smartly Pretty going solo and holding the number one spot, as Matchbox Nineteen and a Half! Matt was looking to become just the tenth solo Champ, but would have to deal with three of those Champs on this night! Seven points behind were the Fa La La La La La La La Mongooses in second after our first round, and three points behind them in third were the returning Team Name! Just one point behind Team Name, tied for fourth were The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes and reigning Champs Milk & Wookiees!

Round two began with the first of the  Game Show Games , Countdown Takedown giving the Good Folks the biggest possible TOP TEN as the rest of the field was left pointless! Then in Survey Says, Team Name unfortunately remained pointless, and no team was able to grab the TOP TEN but Milk & Wookiees got eight points, while Matchbox Nineteen and a Half added six points, the Mongooses added four, and The Good Folks two!

Tri-Pardo  then brought a lower range of points to grab then usual on the first two questions, as both the Fa La La La La La La La Mongooses and Team Name rolled for three points on the first and second categories respectively, before The Good Folks from Laramie rolled eighteen on the third category! This meant that in total twenty-four points were on the line! Hitting for the triple were Matchbox Nineteen and a Half, who strengthened their lead on the field just as The Good Folks had gotten closer! Laramie Cigarettes were able to add twenty-one points however, from the first and third questions, while Team Name, the Mongooses, and Wookiees added eighteen points from the first and third questions correct and second question answered incorrectly! This meant that The Good Folks from Laramie were eight points behind Matchbox Matt, while the Fa La La La La La La Mongooses were tied up with Milk & Wookiees!

Wagering for the  Trivia Finale , had the Mongooses and Good Folks both putting fifty on the line though with Larmie holding a seven point lead on their long time rivals! Milk & Wookiees went all in and thus gave themselves a two point edge on the Mongooses! Ultimately Team Name and Matchbox Nineteen and a Half went all in… leaving Team Name leaning on luck and Matchbox with the ability to take the win with a correct final answer…

Finishing as runner-up on the night were The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes, who finished the night with 109 points! Joining the likes of PETE! and The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes, Wookiee, and Dead on the Inside, as well as less traditional solo teams like the Fighting Mongoose, and the Cunning Stunt, as well as The Sinking Ship, and one-time Lou Dawgs competitor Shiny Happy Chernobyl (and in this case not including the multiple solo head-to-head wins for 2 Fast 2 Curious team members)… Matthew Smith as MATCHBOX NINETEEN AND A HALF won his FIRST SOLO GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONSHIP with 134 points!
