For the end of 2019 at Trivia Club, what better way to end the year then with an event at our longest-running location, the Black Label location of Hitch! For the 160th event we were even joined by a couple of new teams, mixed in amoungst the legacy of Hitch Limited on this Festivus Finale to the year!

 Trivia Classic  came to an end with Matt in the lead, on this night known as Get Out Of Here You Nosy Little Pervert Or I'm Gonna Slap You Silly! Looking to defend his first Golden VHS solo victory from two weeks ago, he held a five and a half point advantage on Ginger Bread Wookiee! One and a half points back from the bar team, including as has happened before for the win, a member of The Man with the Candy, were the 2019 edition of the Festive Mongooses who were looking to close out the year strong with a Golden VHS to go along with their Hitchens Cup for 2019! They held a point and a half advantage on The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes who had not been as successful this winter as winters past and had enjoyed a competitive if not entirely Golden year! Rounding out the field were two new teams who were a point apart, Lady Bosses take Canada, and Je suis le pomplemousse!

 Game Show Games  then saw Lady Bosses take Canada take the first TOP TEN of round two in Countdown Takedown, while Ginger Bread Wookiee nabbed eight points, Festive Mongooses grabbed six points, and the Good Folks and Get Out Of Here You Nosy Little Pervert Or I'm Gonna Slap You Silly grabbing four points a piece! Then in Survey Says it was The Good Folks from Laramie with the TOP TEN while Lady Bosses got another eight points, Pomplemousse nabbed four points, and Festive Mongooses added another two points!

 Tri-Pardo  then had Je suis le pomplemousse roll a nat TWENTY on the first category, The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes rolled fourteen points for the second category, and Ginger Bread Wookiee roll another twenty points on the third category! In total, this meant a huge fifty-four points were on the line for the third round! Hitting for the triple were Ginger Bread Wookiee, giving Neil and Adam (of Man with the Candy) the even stronger advantage, as Lady Bosses would lose six points after getting the third question incorrect but second question correct, and all other teams would also answer the second question correct but third incorrect but level that out with twenty points on the first question to end up with fourteen points overall! Most all wagers were all in, except for Festive Mongooses who left a point on the board while Je suis le pomplemousse chose not to wager half a point. This meant that a half point win was in the cards if all teams answered incorrectly!

All teams would instead answer the  Trivia Finale  correctly, giving The Good Folks from Laramie Cigarettes the runner-up spot on the night by three points over Matt’s solo team Get Out Of Here You Nosy Little Pervert Or I'm Gonna Slap You Silly! Finishing as winners on the night however with a new personal best high score of 194 points were the combined might of half of Man with the Candy and the full Wookiee… GINGER BREAD WOOKIEE! This was their TWELFTH GOLDEN VHS CHAMPIONSHIP, and second in the last three events of the year!

Congrats to Ginger Bread Wookiee, becoming one of the rare teams to win both the final Golden VHS of any given year and the first Golden VHS of any given year at Trivia Club!
