Top Ten Scoreboard for August 2019

ANNOTATIONS for the AUGUST 2019 SCOREBOARD
- The top score on our Monthly Scoreboard for August 2019 belongs to the Cunning Stunts, gain the number one-point total of the month for the first time since April 2018! Not coincidently this was also the last time they won, in the midst of giving the Fighting Mongooses a run for their money for the 2018 Grand Championship Golden VCR! The Cunning Stunts scored 196 points on August 14th at Farside!
- Gaining the number two score of August 2019, which also gives them the highest score for a team on the month who did not win the Golden VHS, are Team Name with 172 points on August 14th at Farside.
- The fourth highest score of the month, and the highest score at Hitch for August 2019 belongs to the M. Night Shaym-Aliens who scored 136 points on August 12th!
- This was six days after the M. Night Shaym-Aliens set the high score mark for August 2019 at The Rec Room on August 6th, of 134 points!
- The highest score outside of Toronto, and the sixth highest score of the month belongs to Crazy Poor Asians, who scored 132 points on August 13th at The Rec Room Square One in Mississauga! This also set not only a new high score mark at Mississauga Square One, but at any Trivia Club event outside of Toronto!
- Outside of the Top Ten, David Bowie’s Corporate Whores set the inaugural high score mark at our first event at the Thompson Diner, with 104.5 points on Thursday, August 29th!
- Also on August 13th, It’s Not Trivial scored 110 points at The Rec Room South Edmonton Commons, the high score for Trivia Club in Edmonton for the month!
- Dairy-Based Projectiles also continued their summer of big wins in London, with a 93 point night on August 27th at The Rec Room Masonville, winning their fifth of six events!
- All together four teams that competed at Farside had a spot on the Monthly Scoreboard for August, while three teams each at Hitch and The Rec Room locations across Canada also found their score on the Scoreboard!
- The eleventh highest score of the month, the closest to making it on the August Scoreboard, belongs to SuperBat & WonderRobin who scored 119 points on August 12 at Hitch!
- The third highest score of August 2019 belongs to 2 Fast 2 Curious, who are now eight for eight for Scoreboards in 2019, and are also making their thirteenth consecutive appearance on the Monthly Scoreboards!
- Also making a consecutive appearance on the Scoreboard are Cookiefaced and Team Name!
- The Mean Team, or the team with a high score on the which is the closest to the Scoreboard Average of 145 points, are the M. Night Shaym-Aliens who scored 136 points on August 12th.
