Saturday Night Live Fantasy League: Episode 44x05: Leiv Schrieber & Lil Wayne

Saturday Night Live Fantasy League presented by Trivia Club, is a Fantasy League like no other. Like Fantasy Football for the comedy nerd, participants draft cast members and prospective hosts before the start of the season and then are awarded points based of their performance through a scoring system. For additional points, before the start of each episode participants can guess which two songs they think the musical guest will perform. Since the beginning, this television institution has become the first step in the major leagues of comedy stardom, and with over forty seasons of familiar traditions, we’ve found a way to add maths to comedy and somehow make that a fun game to play.

Thank you for Kevin M. for breaking down points for this episode of Saturday Night Live! Leiv Schrieber was both surprisingly (and I’m sure unsurprisingly) a highlight of the season so far, especially that House Hunters sketch!

Say hello to the new look rosters as well, our Featured Cast REDRAFT took place after episode four and we saw some shake-ups both big and small. Only three of our seven teams didn’t move at least one cast member around, Hunter the Hungries Gotta Eat, The Not Ready For First Place Players, and The Team You Wish You Hadn’t Started A Conversation With At A Party, while the Holtzwomenn shifted two of their three! Leslie Jones was dropped both of her prior teams, The Billion Dollar Murrays and War Horse Can Dance, while Kyle Mooney was picked up by The Ignorant Sluts and Holtzwomenn!

The next episode of Saturday Night Live will be hosted by Steve Carrel with musical guest Ella Mai, with Hunter the Hungries Gotta Eat looking to pick up some points in The Chase for the Phil Hartman Trophy from his host-pick in Carrel! The December 1st host has also been announced, with Claire Foy making it TWO PICKS from three-time Hartman Trophy winner Matthew S. and The Ignorant Sluts, and she will be joined by musical guest Anderson Paak!
