It was the forty-second edition of Trivia Club at The Rec Room, so participants were ready to answer questions about life, the universe, and everything! Really just another edition of the Greatest Game Show in Toronto! Even after technical difficulties pushed the start back nearly an hour, we were lucky to have an excellent group of people out to play!

 Trivia Classic  ended with Lyndon in first place, with not only sweet sweet candy but some swag from The Rec Room as well! Suck It Trebek returned for their sixth night out at The Rec Room for the second place spot and some candy for their first round finish! Just a half point behind them were The 360s, while a half point behind those 360s were Quiz On My Face! Rounding out the Top Five (top five, top five) were Filet O'Pheesh! The M. Night Shaym-Aliens were just half a point away from the Top Five in sixth and a half point behind them were the Salty Dawgz tied up with the returning Chez Queez! TriviYAS Queen were in ninth, followed by The Winners Of This Competition, and finally the Punning Clan rounded out the field, on the opposite side of the leader board as their table mates and friends, Lyndon!

 Tri-Pardo , our second round at The Rec Room, took what was set as the first round standings and turned them on their head! The first question was rolled for five points by The 360s, the second was rolled for twelve points by Lyndon, and the third question was rolled for seventeen points by Quiz On My Face! This allowed the Punning Clan to gain ten points, with a first and a third question correct but the second question incorrect! Still the Punning Clan suddenly found themselves even with Lyndon, who were unable to answer any of the Tri-Pardo questions! TriviYAS Queen and Quiz On My Face were also left pointless in round two! Making the biggest gains were both Suck It Trebek and The 360s, who with a twenty-nine point swing found themselves in first and second place respectively before the third round with just a HALF POINT separating the two teams! Then in third, with a seventeen point boost were the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, though more then ten points off the lead!

The night's  Trivia Finale  proved to be a tricky one however, with only four teams getting the answer correctly! Chez Queez finished the night in third place, surpassing Suck It Trebek who answered incorrectly but had only wagered four points, so they still finished in fourth! The Salty Dawgz finished in fifth, but even though they had answered the Finale correctly they had also taken the biggest hit in round two, losing ten points! This meant that the last question was in the hands of The 360s, returning for the second time to The Rec Room... but this still new team to Trivia Club had under wagered, and even with a correct answer finished with fifty-six points, good for the runner-up spot on the night!

With sixty-three points after going all in, winning their THIRTY-FIRST GOLDEN VHS... the M. NIGHT SHAYM-ALIENS! This is also their fifth consecutive win, by appearances, for the team and more specifically Shelby! Counting appearances across both Farside and The Rec Room! Very well played!

Congratulations to the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, now two-time Golden VHS champs at our Roundhouse location, only the second team to do so (plus two-time CHAMP, Matthew Smith!) at The Rec Room!
