With a core room full of Golden VHS Champions that remained after two teams of newcomers didn't stick around longer then the second Game Show Game, it was a contest of Champions at the Original Home of Trivia Club! Would Last Place Team win their third Golden VHS? Could the Cunning Stunts climb closer to fifty?! What of David Bowie's Corporate Whores or Team Name, who each haven't won since May? Or the M. Night Shaym-Aliens who have won a Golden VHS each month since June, but had yet won an August Championship?

Round one of Trivia Classic saw the Cunning Stunts with a strong lead on the field, no small feat as the M. Night Shaym-Aliens were in second place by a single point over both the Last Place Team and David Bowie's Corporate Whores! Three and a half points behind in fifth were Team Name, while the field was rounded out by Clubfoot and the Shit Sippers! With the Clubfooters out, the Shit Sippers shifted into sixth for the second round!

Game Show Games saw the Cunning Stunts grab the TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown, while the Shit Shippers grabbed eight points before exiting, and M. Night Shaym-Aliens looked to nab six points alongside David Bowie's Corporate Whores! Survey Says then saw Team Name grab the TOP TEN, while the Cunning Stunts grabbed another eight, and Last Place Team grabbed six points, while the M. Night Shaym-Aliens grabbed an additional four points! C-C-Combo Breakdown then proved to be a real battle, with Team Name missing out on points, and David Bowie's Corporate Whores and Last Place Team both grabbing a point each, while the Cunning Stunts grabbed two points and M. Night Shaym-Aliens grabbed EIGHT POINTS as the last team standing! Due to overall Game Show Game goodness, D.B.'s C.W. remained tied with Last Place Team heading into the third round, while the M. Night Shaym-Aliens added to their second place position, and Cunning Stunts added to their lead!

Cunning Stunts exited Tri-Pardo with a ten point boost, while Team Name grabbed fifteen points! David Bowie's Corporate Whores, Last Place Team, and the M. Night Shaym-Aliens all grabbed twenty-five points! This meant the CWs and LPT remaaaained TIED, while the M. Night Shaym-Aliens slipped into the overall lead by a single point, heading into the Finale! In the Finale, all teams went all in... save for Last Place Team who left five points on the board, while the M. Night Shaym-Aliens wagered only fifteen points!

On this day, that's what lifted both teams! The M. NIGHT SHAYM-ALIENS finished with fifty-two points, for their FOURTEENTH GOLDEN VHS! Last Place Team were runners-up, and stand now one hundred and forty-nine and a half points away from a thousand points at Cardinal Rule! Congrats once again to the M. Night Shaym-Aliens, alone now as the seventh winningest team in the history of Trivia Club!
