Saturday Night Live Fantasy League: Episode 44x17: Kit Harrington & Sara Bareilles

April 07, 2019

Saturday Night Live Fantasy League presented by Trivia Club, is a Fantasy League like no other. Like Fantasy Football for the comedy nerd, participants draft cast members and prospective hosts before the start of the season and then are awarded points based of their performance through a scoring system. For additional points, before the start of each episode participants can guess which two songs they think the musical guest will perform. Since the beginning, this television institution has become the first step in the major leagues of comedy stardom, and with over forty seasons of familiar traditions, we’ve found a way to add maths to comedy and somehow make that a fun game to play.

Here’s the points breakdown for our Fantasy League of Saturday Night Live episode 17 of Season 44, which originally aired on April 6th, 2019.

Kit Harrington was an entertaining host, though his accent work and lack of a beard was a biiit distracting he certainly showed he was game to play! Most surprisingly was the baby-faced Jon Snow let them play with his youth more than a beard certainly would have allowed. I also have no idea what you’ll be doing after Game of Thrones is done, Kit!

Next week is hosted by now four-timer Emma Stone, another correct Host Draft pick by Matthew S. because he is very good at this! Have you heard?! BTS are the Musical Guest, giving something akin to One Direction at their height kind of energy, but with Emma Stone to hype the proceedings instead of Paul Rudd. Certainly both work well. See you after Saturday for another POINTS BREAKDOWN!
