The host of special guests in the opening, and during the show,
also saw War Horse Can Dance get
their first host points of the season, and not a moment too late, within the
final trio of episodes. Still they’ll need a few more lucky breaks to make it
all the way to taking the Hartman Trophy away our newest presumptive winner!
The G.E. Smith Award for most points off of Song Choices is coming more down to
the wire, in that regard, and the Baldwin/Martin Award for most from the hosts,
looks to be locked down otherwise.
In VERSUS news, not one but TWO big matches saw upsets in our
Chevy Chase Championship Play-Off, as the top two seeds went head-to-head, and
our third seed went against the wildcard winner! Could War Horse Can Dance overcome The
Party Andersons? Would The Team You
Wish You Hadn’t Started A Conversation With At A Party keep the dream
alive?!
Next week, our second last of the season, we’ll have Amy Schumer
