It was a night that didn't have a lot of firsts, and DID include a number of surprising seconds! Yes, when Big Floppy Disks were looking for their second Golden VHS it was instead two other teams that proved to make things very interesting indeed!

On an ever competitive night of Trivia Club goodness, it was PETE! that had the high score over the field in Trivia Classic with a three point lead on returning Golden VHS Champs, The Big Floppy Disks! One and a half points behind in third were the latest iteration of Lt. Dance, known on the night as The True Believers (of Trivia Club's Anonymous Elephant, it would seem), with The Schmeg$ ft. Ally & Oli rounding out the field!

Then in Game Show Games it was Big Floppy Disks with a big start to Countdown Takedown, grabbing the TOP TEN! PETE! wagered his way into an additional four points while The True Believers grabbed eight, and The Schmeg$ picked up six! Then in Survey Says, the Big Floppy Disks continued to show off those Game Show Skillz with another TOP TEN answer, while PETE! picked up eight, and The True Believers were able to grab the four pointer from the board! In a competitive Combo Breakdown we saw The Schmeg$ quickly eliminated but the other three competitors take the Combo down to the wire... only for The True Believers walk away with NINE POINTS! This left five points between three teams before Tri-Pardo, and a half point between Big Floppy Disks and The True Believers for first place!

In Tri-Pardo, PETE! took the biggest step forward, breaking past the B.F.D. and the True evangelists of the Anonymous Elephant's, with an additional thirty points! Big Floppy Disks still picked up ten points, while the True Believers held pat and decided not to answer any of the Tri-Pardo trivia! The Schmeg$ however decided to answer the third Tri-Pardo question, and walked away with twenty extra points for their troubles! This then led to a Finale with a number of interesting outcomes!

Both PETE! and the Big Floppy Disks left four points on the board, in the blind wager, and in doing so... both ended the night with four points after getting the Finale incorrect! ALSO ending in a tie, however, were The True Believers and The Schmeg$... who went ALL-IN on the Finale question with their respective thirty-eight and a HALF points! When you can nail down the half point, that's pretty impressive.

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: FIFTH QUESTION TIE-BREAKER!

For only the fourth time in the history of Trivia Club, the fifth question was needed to break a tie of seventy-six points a piece between The Schmeg$ and The True Believers! Impressively, even though this was only the fourth time we've seen a tie-game in more then three-hundred and fifty events... it's the SECOND to feature Lt. Dance, who had defeated the Electric Mayhem of all teams, on the 81st edition of Lou's Trivia Club!

Now though, it was Lt. Dance as The True Believers (Colm and Anthony), against long-time competitor at Lou Dawg's, The Schmeg$... with the night coming down to the Fifth Question! Both teams went all-in once again on the tie-breaking question...

And ONCE AGAIN, it was Lt. Dance's True Believers that walked away with the victory! Yes, for their THIRTEENTH GOLDEN VHS then walked away from their second tie-breaker victorious! Not only that, but they walked away with the Golden VHS of Guy Ritchie's Snatch for the second time! They had won it the first time on a journey to Cardinal Rule... and on a night full of two-time happenings... they walked away with their SECOND SNATCH GOLDEN VHS!

Well done to The True Believers one more time, and thank you again to the wonderful folks who came out and had fun at our #triviatuesday at Lou Dawg's BBQ! We'll see you again NEXT TUESDAY for more Trivia Club goodness!
