It was Independence Day at Farside, with Trivia Club bringing you an 'Merican celebration with (admittedly) as much Canadian Content as possible (you happy CRTC?!), with a host of returning faces and new folks joining in on the fun! Who won the Golden VHS on the night?! Let's see!

 Trivia Classic  concluded with a photo finish between the top two teams, as half a point lay between the Fighting Mongooses and the Buffalo 9s (in Toronto they're sixes, but in Buffalo they're nines)! The reigning Grand Champions of Trivia Club had indeed slipped slightly ahead of the returning Wednesday Trivia Club competitors! In third place after one were Two and a Half Asians, and tied for fourth were We Have No Thumbs (a Team Name alumni at our first Farside event and friends) and the returning OZMA (back for his fourth Trivia Club event, and with a few more friends)! Rounding out the first round field was Banana Chandelier!

 Game Show Games  then saw the Fighting Mongooses expand their slight lead with a TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown, while OZMA grabbed eight points and everyone else was left pointless! We Have No Thumbs then took the TOP TEN in Survey Says, with the Fighting Mongooses notching another six points, and Buffalo 9s now playing catch-up with an additional two points! Combo Breakdown then finally came down to the Buffalo 9s and the Fighting Mongooses... with the Buffalo 9s outlasting the competition for SEVEN POINTS!

 Tri-Pardo  came to the fore now, with the Fighting Mongooses holding onto the lead but the Buffalo 9s fighting to catch-up, and the other teams still proving to be quite competitive indeed! The Buffalo 9s rolled 10 points for the first question, and all teams would get the first question correct! We Have No Thumbs would roll eight for the second question, and they would get the question correct, as would the Fighting Mongooses and Buffalo 9s! Finally, the Fighting Mongooses rolled thirteen on the third question... but the only team to get it correct would be OZMA, while We Have No Thumbs would lose thirteen points and leave them with five points in the third round! This meant that heading into that last question, OZMA had gained ground, but the Mongooses still held the advantage on OZMA and the Buffalo 9s!

 Finale  wagering being what it is, We Have No Thumbs went all in, as did the Buffalo 9s (remember in Toronto they're sixes, but in Buffalo they're nines), while not realising it the Fighting Mongooses and OZMA both left eight points on the table! A potential tie was in the cards, depending on how it all shook out!

Only one team would get the Finale question correct, and that team... would win they're FIRST GOLDEN VHS! Yes, in his fourth event it was OZMA who took home the gold along with his team, while the Fighting Mongooses were runners-up for the third time in five events at the 'Side!
