At our home in the Trivia Club 'hood that is Roncy, it was a pleasure to be back at The Ace after an extended fifth week break! Yes, to begin June on the west-end it was a concentrated dose of trivia goodness with The Simple Minds returning an almost completely new team to defend their Golden VHS! Fighting Mongooses made their second trip west as well, to enjoy some trivia after a second consecutive Monday off, and Trivial Knowledge also made a return to The Ace to continue representing a new legacy in the west!

 Trivia Classic  saw the first round come to an end with The Simple Minds take a lead on the Fighting Mongooses by five points, while KPF were in third and Trivial Knowledge rounded out the field just three points off of the podium!  Game Show Games  shifted things considerably with Trivial Knowledge gaining ground thanks to a TOP TEN in both Countdown Takedown and Survey Says and bringing Trivial Knowledge within one point of second place, while The Simple Minds grabbed eight points in each, and the Fighting Mongooses took home six points! This led to an uber competitive Combo Breakdown, which led to a stand-off between the Fighting Mongooses and The Simple Minds... and the Fighting Mongooses holding out for the THIRTEEN POINT victory as the last team standing, though they had run out of options and did not double up the Combo in the end!

We then round out to  Tri-Pardo , with the Fighting Mongooses grabbing thirteen points from the third question, while The Simple Minds grabbed ten points from the first two questions combined! Yes, in total the twenty-three points up for grabs was considerably low... and when the dust settled before the Finale question, The Simple Minds had only a one point lead on the Fighting Mongooses! This meant that not only was the pressure on the final answer but on the wager! The Simple Minds wagered sixty of their sixty-three points... and the Fighting Mongooses wagered sixty of their sixty-two points!

With the  Finale  answer, it was correct answers across the board, which meant that Trivial Knowledge finished in third... and winning the night for the second consecutive event at The Ace by one point, and this time with considerably more then just one point.... THE SIMPLE MINDS! The Fighting Mongooses were once again runners-up at The Ace, and by the slimmest of margins, as The Simple Minds are now FOUR-TIME GOLDEN VHS CHAMPS! This is also their first victory on the second week of the month, as their first three wins came at the back half of our first three months at The Ace!
