 A s a bit of counter-programming against one of the greatest World Series games ever, the Original Home of the Greatest Game Show in Toronto saw a head-to-head match-up that came all the way down to the wire! In a match-up of friendly rivals at Cardinal Rule, it was the M. Night Shaym-Aliens looking for their first win since August against the returning Champs and newest entries into the Five Timers Club, the Last Place Team!

After the first round of Trivia Classic, the M. Night Shaym-Aliens had a slight lead on the Last Place Team thanks to a push from the Trivia Classic which allowed for a three point cushion which the Shaym-Aliens would work hard to keep a hold of! In the first Game Show Game, Countdown Takedown, the Last Place Team put a big number up and the M. Night Shaym-Aliens played it safe... but that allowed their competition to get the TOP TEN while the Shaym-Aliens were forced to be happy with eight points! Then the M. Night Shaym-Aliens got the second choice in Survey Says, but were lucky enough to gain a TOP TEN of their own, while the Last Place Team would have to be happy with an eight point swing that brought the score back to three points in the M. Night Shaym-Aliens favor!

Finally, Game Show Games ended in dramatic fashion as the M. Night Shaym-Aliens outlasted the Last Place Team in C-C-Combo Breakdown... but then lost their additional seven points with a miscued bonus play! Heading into Tri-Pardo, this then only gave the Shaym-Aliens a four point lead!

And it would only continue to be a war of attrition, as both teams would get the second question correct... but then in turn get the third question incorrect, leaving both the M. Night Shaym-Aliens and Last Place down five points! And if that wasn't all, with the Finale Wager both teams were thinking the same thing... and BET FOURTY!

The M. Night Shaym-Aliens held the advantage, but it was truly down to the Finale question... and with one team getting it correct and one team not, the veritable stale mate was finally broke open, with the M. NIGHT SHAYM-ALIENS grabbing ahold of their FIFTEENTH GOLDEN VHS!

ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED: FIFTEEN TIMERS CLUB

This is now the fourth Golden VHS win for the M. Night Shaym-Aliens against the Last Place Team, while L.P.T. have won with the M. Night Shaym-Aliens playing against them: three times! Congrats to the M. Night Shaym-Aliens one more time, and thank you to the Last Place Team for joining us for a twenty-third consecutive week! It's been quite the fun year with both of these teams!
