at Lou Dawgs: Cunning Stunts, October 11th 2016 TRIVIA CLUB CHAMPS

A t Lou Dawg's this past Tuesday the question was not only who might win the Golden VHS, but could PETE! be only the third team to THREE-PEAT and turn it into the THREE-PETE! If Trivia Club's most decorated one-man team was to do so, he would have to get through fellow Lou Dawg's all-timers the Cunning Stunts and Lt. Dance (on this day known as the Locker Room Talkers), not to mention newcomers the B Sharps!
Now, the Cunning Stunts had been uncharacteristically absent from the winners circle, having gone all of September without a victory for the winningest team in Trivia Club. Not only that, but Lt. Dance had been present and accounted for, but they had also seen five consecutive appearances with no points to their name let alone a win, since the second week of August, a week before the Stunts last victory! So after the end of round one, the table was certainly set! The Cunning Stunts held an impressive lead, with more then twice the point total of PETE! in second place, and Lt. Dance's Locker Room Talkers in third! The B Sharps rounded out the field!
In round two, the crowd was joined by BJ (no doubt a Blue Jay's fan!), to begin Game Show Games! Locker Room Talkers grabbed the TOP TEN in Countdown Takedown, with The B Sharps nabbing eight, followed by the Cunning Stunts, BJ, and PETE! Then in Survey Says it was Locker Room Talker with another TOP TEN to their total, with PETE! taking eight points home, and the B Sharps and BJ also picking up some points! Finally in Combo Breakdown, we lost BJ, but the B Sharps gained two points! Locker Room Talker also gained an additional two, as did the Cunning Stunts... as PETE! held out as the last team standing for an additional TWELVE POINTS!
Finally, this brought us around to Tri-Pardo, which saw the B Sharps pick up ten points, moving one point ahead of Locker Room Talk who held pat, while PETE! slipped at the fifteen point question and gained five points total, and the Cunning Stunts took one step close to a month long elusive victory by sweeping the answer field for forty-five additional points! Yes, heading into the Finale, the Cunning Stunts once again had double the points of their closest competitor in PETE! and this time... they would not let him catch them, hey would not let him grab that ever elusive third straight Golden VHS!
THE CUNNING STUNTS ended the night with 152 points, and thus won their FORTY-SEVENTH GOLDEN VHS! As noted, it was their first victory in six weeks, and also the night was the sixth straight event with zero points on the board for Lt. Dance! Can the Stunts repeat NEXT WEEK, or can Lt. Dance break free of their pointless streak?! Also, PETE! wants revenge.
