QUALITY: Matthew McConaughey was a game host, as was no surprise. Though admittedly his wasn’t quite as strong a hosting gig as Elizabeth Banks overall I would still put him above Amy Schumer in the Host Unofficial Power Rankings, thanks to the strength of what has truly been the viral sketch of the season so far (not the one I mentioned last week), with the simple concept pulled off to the fullest in the “Hello” Thanksgiving lip sync video.

As standings continue to shuffle, and points keep coming in, we’re left in an exciting position for the final three shows of 2015! Yes, the Host’s have been announced up until episode NINE! Ryan Gosling is the odd man out, in terms of being someone that NONE of the forty teams involved, drafted! Still, an unexpected but exciting choice, and his being in an Adam McKay directed film likely helped Gosling get in Lorne’s crosshairs!

Chris Hemsworth is ALSO hosting, and was drafted by ONE team! His lack of involvement in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War had kept him off of many a radar, as can be expected but Anthony’s Joe Pesci Showmanship still snapped up Hemsworth for his second consecutive hosting gig, and SECOND SNL hosting gig of 2015!

Finally, the last host of 2015 before we head into the holiday break WASN’T a cast member of The Night Before, nor is it a Star Wars cast member either (well, yet, there’s still hope for that one…), no it’s TWO former cast members, two former Weekend Update anchors… it’s Tina Fey and Amy Poehler! Both were drafted in each of the six Groups, with Organic Wifi of the Myers Groups having drafted them both!
